Old story , Nawaz Sharif hated companies under Government banner and his buddy Khakan Abassi has conflict of interest he run a direct competitor to PIA

Why would anyone care to fix PIA back then

But good to see PIA starting to take baby steps towards Revival

Video shared many points which needed to be shared

• Workers were not an issue but it was the political influencers and Union heads who caused problems
• Decay of Airport equipment being used at airport
• Lack of facilities for workers
• Lack of Cleaning material for flight crew (Forced to clean with tissue paper not detergent)
• Lack of Eating cafeteria for workers at airport
• Cannibalization of parts from planes to make them dysfunctional instead of buying parts from outside
• Flying planes on a loss making routes , routes where there were restrictions imposed that you can't bring a full plane to their country (Japan from Karachi-Beging - Tokyo route)
• Improvements in food quality served
• Identification of fake workers who names were used to redirect phantom salaries
• Identification of Properties owned overseas by PIA which were not used not rented , so PIA was double renting properties overseas
• PIA fiying incorrect flight routes , flying 1 hours extra each way (total 2 hours extra on return flight) costing fuel and delays for passengers , the New CEO fixed these problems. You can imagine how much fuel was being wasted !!!!
• KPK passengers stranded in Lahore or Islamabad airports instead of direct flight for them (folks working in middle east) , new flights have been started now before they were forced to ride on bus

Many changes were done by simply re-motivating the workforce and supporting them who many of them stepped up their game to make minor improvements across operations and facilities by simply coming up with solutions , with out requiring more money to fix office space

Refuse to provide them facilities and equipment
and then entice operations to be sold off to 3rd party

PIA liabilities stand at 430b rupees which is the full cost of bhasha dam(486b rupees) steels mills railway and deso is the same story

Than we hear fake Aristotle's crying and saad corrupt moaning ...

Well if any business , any property , any home is neglected , even if it was a million dollar asset it will crumble and decay and that is what has happened with PIA

Blessed with 200 Million population , 20 Million travel on international destination on going basis , and similar figure travels locally yet such a vital asset to these population is neglected

Every year money was redirected out thru fake channels , and other means and audit reports were faked to show every profit was lost due to fuel cost and employee salary under a very nasty agenda
