Brainwashing and Jehad!

I think there is a lack of education among Pakistanis about the events, which brought religious confrontation in the subcontinent. Use of Jehad for political gains and brainwashing of young mind through religion to provoke them and use their sentiments for terror activities.

I would like to share some events!

during 18th century, there was one scholar named Walli Ullah Shah a Hardcore jehadi and follower of Ibn Tehmmiya , who was told by britishers that Marathas and Jats are rising, which is a severe threat to Muslims and Islamic theology. So Walli Ullah Shah wrote a covert letter to Ahmad Shah , that , come and attack India. In 1759-61 was the crucial year of Indian history. The third battle of panipat, which weakened the Maratahas and the Mughals along with Durrani. This gave clear way to Britishers to penetrate into India.

The point I am making that, the term jehad and Walli Ullah Shah's extremism, were used by britishers in their strategic response.

Deobandis highly religious, but pro Indians, against the theology of Ibn Tehmiya, hijacked by deoband wanabes in Karachi and Peshawar, creating a new ideology of Deoband Madrassa following Wahabism. The recent attackers in Pakistan, had their leader of deoband Ideology.

The territorial changes in british empire are seen.

How an extremist nature of using Islam can be self destructive. Ibn Tehmmiya and Wahab , who used it, to counter Mongols to prevent Arab culture, Not Islam, but gradually declined. TTP, HUJI, JEM, all are part of this, not for Islam but for political gains.

Unless until Pakistan does not clarify to it's citizens, why Pakistan came to existence, a product of british conspiracy in Aligarh Muslim university, founded by Sir Syed Ahmed to counter Hindu Banaras university, people will be confused and they will follow path of terrorism and hate in the name of Religion.

Pakistan needs to understand that Brainwashing the youth by these Madrassas need to be taken care of.

For proofs, evidences, etc etc all that kindly go throug, Ibn tehmiya, al Wahab, Shah Walliullah, Third Battle of Panipat and Deoband madrassa(Darul Uloom Deoband).
Lies and Crap the Jihad is part of Islam and will remain as such no power on earth can do it. It has strict laws about who you can target and who you can't if some mentally retard takes killing innocent as Jihad no body can do anything about it but in Islam you have to only target enemy forces even if they attack your children. Finally the only problem is our all Muslim forces and Governments became really loyal slaves of west and did nothing to solve issue if Palestine and Kashmir in fact became partners with west when they attacked Iraq and Afghanistan. If all Muslim Governments had joined hands and started Jehad on government level by there Armed Forces not through militant groups this wouldn't have happened. So to end this militancy they just need to form joint Military take back Palestine and Kashmir ask USA to leave Afghanistan and Iraq take out ISIS and Boko Haram themselves and also take out idiot leader like Bashar Al Asad and implement Islam fully not what suits you. If we take these steps only than we would be able to defeat local groups who are rising.

Completely agreed with the thread.
I think We should keep religion OUT from school books and keep our children away from religion blackmailing.
Islam was and will remain part of books and schools and whole Muslim society going no where.

@Screambowl what is your opinion on Marathas alliance with British against Tipu Sultan..

please post complete information.. Alliance of British , Marathas and NIZAM of Hyderabad :)

This is exactly what I am against... Half information

Then follow Quran, why to follow Ibn Tehmiya and Wahab ideologies and work of other Islamic scholars... only one ideology that is Quran finish it there! That's what my main concern is.

What do you mean by Palestine and Kashmir? Why Pakistanis have to follow Muslim sunni Ummah , are they not happy with Pakistan?

First you created Pakistan in the name of religion going exactly against Quran, then you started concerning about other Muslims, as if only Muslims are Human. Some Nonsense going around?

Ibn Temiya was one of the great scholars of Islam and so was Muhammad bin Abdul Wahab and they both basically told Muslims to go back to Quran and Sunnah this is what they were asking Muslims to do and all there works are basically nothing but telling Muslims to follow Quran and Sunnah

ibn tehmiya to counter Mongols and save arabic culture... go and read some pdf on strategic responses. It was more of Political theology .

Same was done by Walli Ullah shah by telling the Ahmed Shah to come and attack India. When half of the Muslims were against it.

Oh come on, al Wahab knew that just like ibn tehmiya counter the mongol invasion with the radical form of Islam. He used the same tactic again to spread Islam, but it is more political not religious.

The center of the Islamic Empire at the time was Baghdad, which had held power for 500 years but was suffering internal divisions. When its caliph al-Mustasim refused to submit to the Mongols, Baghdad was besieged and captured by the Mongols in 1258, an event considered as one of the most catastrophic events in the history of Islam, and sometimes compared to the rupture of the Kaaba. With the destruction of the Abbasid Caliphate, Hulagu had an open route to Syria and moved against the other Muslim powers in the region.[62]

His army advanced towards Ayyubid-ruled Syria, capturing small local states en route. The sultan Al-Nasir Yusuf of the Ayyubids refused to show himself before Hulagu; however, he had accepted Mongol supremacy two decades earlier.

this is actually related to how to stop brainwashing of youth in tribal areas of Pakistan and in our own India. If they are delivered with proper and real knowledge then youth will not get into superficial Jannat craze

Typical way to avoid a discussion. Thank you anyways :)

We only need to care about our own nation.Empower entire population with good education ,should give more prominence to the S&T education .Then people will stay away from bad ideaologies.
About our western neighbour .Let them do what they want.Their future is in their hands not ours.

we are doing very well in comparative to Pakistan. But since we hold a 18% Muslim population, we should also be telling them about this :)

I am the one who is quoting facts! Ibn tehmiya used radical concepts of countering Mongols in the name of religion, to capture Kabah back. But Mongols were also clever.. they converted themselves into Muslims, so Tehmiya brought the term Sunni Islam and Arab supremacy to counter Mongols.

This is not peace of cake.. this is to be seen as strategic response and has nothing to do with Islam!!

@Zarvan

What has been called Ibn Taymiyyah's "most famous" fatwā[9] was issued against the Mongols in the Mamluk's war. Ibn Taymiyyah declared that jihad upon the Mongols was not only permissible, but obligatory.

. He based this ruling his argument that the Mongols could not, in his opinion, be true Muslims despite the fact that they had converted to Sunni Islam because they ruled using what he considered 'man-made laws' (their traditional Yassa code) rather than Islamic law or Sharia. Because of this, he reasoned they were living in a state of jahiliyyah, or pre-Islamic pagan ignorance.[21][7]

Apart from that, he led the resistance of the Mongol invasion of Damascus in 1300. In the years that followed, Ibn Taymiyyah was engaged in intensive polemic activity against:

  1. the Rifa'i Sufi order,
  2. the ittihadiyah school, a school that grew out of the teaching of Ibn Arabi, whose views were widely denounced as heretical[citation needed].
In 1306 Ibn Taymiyyah was imprisoned in the citadel of Cairo for eighteen months on the charge of anthropomorphism. He was incarcerated again in 1308 for several months.

In 2010 a group of Islamic Scholars in Mardin argued that Ibn Taymiyya's fatwa was misprinted into an order to "fight" the ruler who is not applying Islamic law, but rather it means to "treat."[22] They have based their understanding on the original manuscript in the Al-Zahiriyah Library, and the transmission by Ibn Taymiyya's student Ibn Muflih.[23]

This show the biassed towards Arab culture and Arab supremacy, and fools of our Subcontinent, praising them!
