Well most of it is spend by US. And considering what nanotech can do, when commercialized it can be used anywhere where we use electronics which my friend is a lot places which i think you didn't thought and 3 trillion $ figure is too much but i think they are talking global not india and considering global it can reach that figure.

b.) The Distance between Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir,India) and Islamabad (Islamabad,Pakistan) is :
170.62 kilometers (km).

c.) The Distance between Jammu (Jammu and Kashmir,India) and Sargodha (,Pakistan) [Airport] is :
220.08 kilometers (km).

d.) The Distance between Karachi Airport (,Pakistan) [Airport] and Lakhpat (Gujarat,India) is :
204.19 kilometers (km).

All of these areas are less then 2 minutes away or 20 seconds for Lahore.

Good Job. But it will take a minute extra. 6.5 Mach is top speed and not the average speed but a really scary thing.

Assuming US as God of missile defence ,
US can modify the existing BMD in to Ship based one with in couple of years . That would be a way easier . It would take decades for US to operationalize any defence against Brahmos II of speed Mach 7 . Leave Mach 10 Brahmos to GOD .
Remember its easier to shoot a ballistic missile from a widespread area . Where as in case of cruise missile only the target(if it has capability, which is for sure that no country will be having it in next few decades) can intercept it .

^ Brahmos 2 will only be operational 2016+, the US can already intercept hypersonic projectiles.

We should not overestimate our capabilities vis a vis the US. They have been doing this for a lot longer, have a lot more funds, have a much more capable industry and work force.
