Seeing the behavior of the bhartis... I am really amazed. They are pretty much fond of describing their habit to others. Just to any website n see which country's people are voyeuristic and has peeping Tom type nature. Reason is also obvious... .

While I don't support the attrocities done by the Jamindars, however there were good, bad and ugly among them and Muslim Jamindars were exatly like their Hindu peers.

Secondly, Jamindars were there since the Mughal era. The adminstration of Nawabs of Bengal was manned mostly by Hindus. The Turkic Nawabs never identified themselves with Bengali Muslims.

However Nawab of Dhaka was indeed incubated from british bellies, they originally were traders(the much hated baniyas ).

Dude, when you don't know any single thing about Bangladesh, then why always come up with those assumptions?? Nawabs of Dhaka were proud to be Bengalis!! The first persons from the family arrived in Bengal some 600 years ago, long before the British period!! They were previously living in Kashmir and were famous as Muslim saints, later they had some collisions with the local Mughal rulers and came to Bengal!! Later they turned out into cloth traders in Bengal!! Nawabs were a bit supportive to the British but that has some reasons, when the British arrived, Muslims didn't cooperated with them and used to boycott the British education and especially the English language for ousting Persian as the state language of India as it was in the Mughal period!! Thus, the British were more brutal towards the Muslims and the Muslims were totally lagged behind in terms of education and financial matters!! Some Muslim laureates realized the situation and started to cooperate with the British to take up the demands of Muslims, the Nawabs just did that!!

actualy historian labong thinks he knows nababs of bengal more than us but the problem is he's like a empty vessel sounds much.what he say about our nabab,zaminder family nothing but a fairy tale.my mother's family was both sarkar and also had a zamindari in rajsahi area ,so i heard a lot of these from them.but I am realy astonished and speechless seeing this folish persons statement . he proved him nothing but a foolish insane
