Boycott Intel, Buy AMD instead

why do you think i'm trolling , i'm not !

i myself plan to buy an AMD next time , with intel it's like the iphone , every year something new comes with AMD there are only two sockets the FM2 and the AM3+ ,AMD is sheer power , it's like a fat american worker from the south , intel is like a lean israeli who can't lift a feather
AMD sucks big time .. but u can use it a toaster !

.
Depends upon your usage/requirement ,For gaming Skylake is way to go.

so you think LGA 2011(3) is for servers ?

AMD sucks big time .. but u can use it a toaster !
can you please explain more ? ive never had AMD before , how does it suck comparing to intel ? isn't windows 10 designed for AMD ?

Nope, more like video editing etc. or gamers with unlimited cash who needs just top of line stuff.

ALSO will you tell me according to you what temperature range is Overheating?

i didn't have a software installed to tell my temprature , but my cpu fan was badly at it when i realized it was overheating and it's a big v-6

and this is my case :

but i don't have money to put decent stuff into it

like the ddr4 skylake , other stuff , :( guess i'm gonna give up on pci 3 and ddr4 and buy amd instead , with 9590 i can atleast have the latest thing for a while

Install speccy or MSI afterburner or SpeedFan or Core Temp or Hardware monitor. I wonder even with getting Good component you didn't install any of these software, Why? (Did you just buy i7 to browse forums.)

I don't know who advised you to buy these components but instead of this i7-4690K would be just a better pick,You should have kept money for good GPU & also instead of Cosmos ,500R/HAF-X would be just fine

Just install any of these software speccy is just around 6MB. Anything below 60C is just very good.

I dont suggest to touch AMD even with a stick before they introduce Zen. Even dual core i3 Skylake is doing better than 8 core AMDs :P

So you think buying intel and nvidia are better ? i was considering giving up on ddr4 and pci e 3.0 and going for a cheap AMD instead , please explain !

I cant comment if Intel or Nvidia are better because i have only once used AMD and that was long long time ago AMD K-6/2 500 MHZ. The problem i faced was it use to get over heated and become unstable. As for Nvidia both ATI and Nvidia have their pros and cons. Like for example Nvidia consumes less way less power than its ATI counter part. Intel on the other hand is not by choice but because it is available in Pakistan with costumer support and warranty, has a resale value.
I am still using ddr3 on an older 2nd generation system I3 so dont know much about ddr4 but PCI e 3 is a massive improvement over the older 2.0

Not just because AMD is so superior; The world's largest chipmaker Intel has asked the Vietnamese government for a license to build a chip plant worth 605 million dollars in southern Ho Chi Minh City, a government official said. "Intel applied for licensing with the Ministry of Planning and Investment on Wednesday," a ministry official said. "We expect that all the administrative procedures will end soon as this is a huge project for Vietnam's information and technology sector." Under Vietnamese regulations, the project needs authorisation from several ministries before being submitted to the prime minister for final approval. Intel officials declined any immediate comment. According to the daily Tuoi Tre newspaper, the plant will cover 46.7 hectares (115 acres) and employ 2,000 local workers. In late 2003, Intel signed an agreement with FPT, a semi-private Vietnamese IT company, to be its first original equipment manufacturer (OEM) in Vietnam. Under the agreement, Intel sells central processing units, main boards and other components to FPT at preferential prices for the manufacture of desktops, laptops and servers under the Vietnamese company's Elead brand. "I believe the main reason (for the investment) is cost-saving," an FPT official said. "In Asia-Pacific, the costs of production and distribution are much lower". He said Intel probably also wanted to diversify production locations, with "IT giants turning to Vietnam to reduce their risk." Last June, Intel president Paul Otellini said his company was already enjoying growing sales in the communist nation, the fastest growing PC market among the 10 members of the Association of South-East Asian Nations. Otellini had come to Vietnam to sign an agreement with the government to improve accessibility of information technologies throughout the country. The US chip giant created a foundation aiming to boost communication infrastructure across ministries, government, provinces and various organisations and to help Vietnam develop a robust local IT industry. The latest investment seems to be the next stage of the company's strategy. "Vietnam is a very promising market because enterprises are under-equipped," a foreign expert said. "The potential is very big, including in the government and state-owned companies". He said the Intel plant would undoubtedly boost the sector by creating jobs and help Vietnam's exports. "It is a very big sign. Intel is not coming just for the Vietnamese market. They are looking at other markets around." Last month Intel said it would invest 230 million dollars in Malaysia as part of a three-year expansion plan. It also said it was planning to invest more than one billion dollars to expand in India in the next five years. - See more at: boycott Intel, buy AMD - comp.sys.intel

1. if by "boycott israel and buy amd" you are referring for support of palestine then like @GBU-28 said, amd has a facility in israel but also amd has a big investment from uae - the gulfi country that again is israel government's partner in a few things... the uae investment is via a company called mubadala and is in two ways :

the first is amd's "research" and offices running[1] :
AMD, in which Mubadala holds a significant equity stake, designs and integrates technology that powers millions of intelligent devices. It is the world’s second largest supplier of microprocessors and the third largest supplier of graphics processing units.

the second is in the foundry that manufactures the amd processors, gpu's etc[2] :
GLOBALFOUNDRIES, which is 100% owned by Mubadala, has the simple but ambitious goal of becoming the world’s first truly global semiconductor manufacturing company. It was launched in 2009 through a partnership between ATIC, now Mubadala Technology, and AMD (Advanced Micro Devices) and subsequently expanded with the acquisition of Singapore-based Chartered.

2. i have been designing a portable computer of a radical design and it will have new processor and new os... i find these amd/intel wars to be arguments forwarded by vid game players... i find vid games a utter waste of time... the only computer game i played regularly was a qnx os version of tetris called columns and this was years ago... the wastefulness and harm by vid games is a subject of another thread but i am typing this post on a simple machine having a intel dual-core ( g2020 ) and i am satisfied with it.

3. some years ago when i and a friend had started a small organization, the computers had a mix of intel pentium 4 and some equivalent amd processor... the amd machines gave inferior performance.

Good luck with that:tup:,may i know when it is scheduled to be launched in the market:D

Good luck with that:tup:,

thank you.

may i know when it is scheduled to be launched in the market:D

1. it should take a more or less a year to demonstrate the prototype... over the years it took me in the design, the design successively became more simplified, general purpose and elegant, and now the computer's physical structure design and the os design and the processor design i generally consider having reached a fixed place.

2. the intention is to make the design 'open source' ( release it on the internet ).

.
welcome---------any innocent intention to put kill switches in this machine:D @jamahir
