That is a lot of guns. If they had went through, that is at least a few thousand Saudi policemen and other 10s of thousands other civilian and innocent casualties; if we count just 10 bullets per gun, that is 35 000 bullets. It is too dangerous as it was proven since 2004 with 4 armed cell members shooting it out with Saudi police. There were only 3 or 4 instances but police casualties were inevitable due to guns and many officers died.
So these border guards /special forces are really preventing bloodshed inside KSA.
