Bon appetit from Ladakh

THat's a very complicated issue and a topic for another thread. There definitely is no easy solution.

Good luck. Didn't work out too well for you guys the last three times you tried that.

yea
Kashmir dispute cant be solved, both sides are inflexible with their demands

Hard core Indians... Some actually right wingers (i know, surprising)... and it is not religion dependent in that part of the state.
Not sure about Muslims, but Hindus and Sikhs of Jammu are some of the most hard core BJP/RSS supporters in the country.

Sikhs don't support RSS. Very rare to find a sikh in one of their shakhas. And lots of Hindus in Jammu province also don't. There is no question of Muslims supporting RSS. Army does not allow sanghis in the LOC districts - they are more a jammu and udhampur city phenomenon. Supporting BJP is another matter. Sitting MP - Jugal Kishore won because he carried full province with him but will be a tough relection after the recent drama and no development in Jammu.

BTW, we were talking of leh/laddakh.. beautiful parts, lovely people and delicious food.

Definitely a lot more peaceful than Jammu and Kashmir. Ladakh has never witnessed the communal and sectional violence that has unfortunately occurred in those regions. The Muslims, Buddhists, and the small number of Hindus and Sikhs there have all lived in peace for centuries.

Must have been tough. Worst I have to deal with is a hurricane every few years or so:undecided:

Definitely India. Jammu, Ladakh, and northern Kashmir support India. It is mostly central and southern Kashmir that are against India. Unfortunately, that happens to be the most populated part of the JaK state, so those people end up defining the narrative around the entire state.
We will take Jammu, Leh and Ladakh from India

Wish we could get J&K
