Bomb blast reported in Jamrud Jama Masjid

You have to first understand why they are unable to come to terms with reality - for more than 30 years, in their school books, on their TV shows, in their newspapers, in the their Masajid, from every possible means of communication, they have been fed the line that Jihad and the external appearances of religiosity, is the substance of Islam -- and the Jihadi has a special place in heaven.

So now, the same Jihadi calls Pakistan, Apostate and the same Jihadi now calls the Jihadi army of Pakistan, Apostate - Apostates, according to their ideology, are "worthy" of being murdered.

So as the bombs go off in our streets, as teenage boys and burqa turn explosive, Pakistanis are presented with choices they would rather not have to deal with -- the "no Muslim could do this" line has slowly been replaced RAW - it's because they are numb inside, they have had the Sh_t kicked out of them, in the name of ideology of Islam-ism, of course - and they just can't get their heads around this reality.

Any way you look at it they lose - if the explosive Muzloums done it, they lose, if the horrible Hindu RAW done it, they lose.

So show them some "pity" - not that they will appreciate it - but it's the decent thing to do, another alien concept to them.

i think blaming the so called jihad concept fed in schools is not plausible..because had it been responsible for these attacks, we would have seeing such attacks way back in 90s and early 2000s..

these attacks a organised by a terrorist group which brainwashes kids..i dont think so it has anything to do with schools etc..havnt all pakistani gone through such a school system..were these terrorist..ofcourse not..

in-fact the kids who never gone through Pakistani school system are easily brainwashed.in our books jihad is word used for sacrifice and patriotism not as tool of terrorism.

main reason for such attacks is simply the failure of police and intelligence probably due to lack of resources and good leadership
even in a sacular society we would have ben facing same problem, probably more bigger issue..

regarding afg, the problem is political..you will find supporters of both taliban and western allaince(uptill now there is no such thing as afg goveremnt or we wouldnt have been seeing taliban gaining so much strength)..unless america focus on government representing all afghans and their wishes we would expect taliban to flourish.
i am personally a oppose to taliban but noone can deny that afghans have seen much better peace and security in their era than in current era..all the aid has gone into NGos and overemnt pockets..and in any part of the world security/rule of law is first and most important commodity

Fair enough - you say
these attacks a organised by a terrorist group which brainwashes kids..i dont think so it has anything to do with schools etc..havnt all pakistani gone through such a school system..were these terrorist..ofcourse not.
.

All Pakistanis do not go to school and yes, these people are "brain washed" but what are they brain washed with? Islam and the spirit of Jihad - would you disagree??

You say in Pakistani schools jihad is taught as patriotism - in other words, it is linked with the army - what you are failing to realize is that the people you call "terrorists" now, are the same people you call "Mujahids" when they turn their guns on the enemies of the army, Afghans and indians and such -- is this not so?

To your larger point that Pakistani schools do not turn out religious radicals, I would refer you to a study by Dr. Siddiqa on the current affairs board, I think - Dr. Siddiqa offers that religious radicalism in Pakistan is now so widespread among youth that it is a "pop culture" of Pakistan.

I understand the need you may feel to be defensive - I don't blame you, it's difficult for you to wrap your head around the reality that the Islamist insurgency in Pakistan is ISLAMIST - you like many others that thought of these as Mujahids when they were attacking Indians and Afghans but these people did not take kindly to Pakistan pulling on their leash and have turned on Pakistan and it is bewildering to you and so many others - therefore answers, no matter how absurd, are entertained, these islamists are really mossad agents, no they are RAW agents, No they are CIA agents - anything but what they really are - Mujahids that Pakistan army trained. I'm sorry if it's harsh for you, it's the truth and the sooner you accept it, the sooner you can effect corrections.

another sad, tragic day in our country
wasted lives for no reason at all......

the incidents keep taking place; and these threads are made

the same old words of sorrow....and then people just move on as if all is normal..

to some its resilience of a nation; which is true to some degree....but there comes a point when it has gone too far. All this bloodshed of our people, and the authorities are unable to come up with a plan to provide sufficient security to the people; the terrorists are getting their hands on explosives, and are able to find pawns to do their dirty work.

shameless cowards

What are the reasons a terrorist can give for bombing a mosque during friday prayer in the holy month of ramdan. Its outrageous These terrosits cant even think like an animal they are worse than that.I condemn it stongly.

Indian intelligence chief has visited Kabul and there were intelligence meeting in between some foreign agencies, after that this terrorist attack can tell what kind of planning are across our borders.

..so a myriad of intelligence agencies were planning and plotting in a land where ISI itself is heavily involved and the ISI did not come to know of it?

Incompetent or Complicit?

This is so sad and its getting worse everyday in a holy place of worship a Masjid and in this holy month i swer i shouldn't say this may GOD forgive me as i don't wish upon anyone but may the ones these cowards die and go straight to hell . Time for Pakistan the gov the armed forces the people to unite and kill all these bastards . Rip to the dead and wish the best for the ones hurt may GOD bless Pakistan and have mercey on us.

Once again you are taking just some tidbits of information while ignoring the bigger reality to try to come to faulty conclusions.

Yes, the taliban are brainwashed by faulty notions of jihad and the Pakistani state has played a part in this, but the jihad of al qaeda and the underlying belief system goes beyond Pakistan or the Zia era. It is a larger struggle within Islam, or are you also going to blame Zia and Pakistani schools for what is happening in Iraq, or previously Algeria, or Egypt, Saudi Arabia etc?

Just learning about jihad does not turn someone into a terrorist or supporter of terrorism. This is the stupidest thing I have read on here. If it were true, all of Pakistan would already be under taliban rule by now.

For an outsider's view when I see such pics:

A river of blood spilled in a house of Islam, by a follower of Islam, for a cause of better Islamic rule, and yet no one in the Islamic world is discussing a revision/reinterpretation of Islam for a better world.

Christianity has went over series of changes from being a terrorism sponsoring radical faith church to new liberal religion.

News media are telling that some anti-Taliban elders were in the mosque. So in the Taliban's view its a legit target. The most vunerable position and where most of the leaders are gathered.
