Sorry, I haven't seen any movie regarding Kargil conflict. I will try later sometime.@Norwegian There are two good movies on Kargil war...LAKSHYA and LOC KARGIL, have you seen these films?
Its not an anti-Army thread. Its about the impact of entertainment industry on indo-pak relations. How come this Anti Pakistan Army thread is a featured thread and not closed one
They always target some rogue elements in Pak-Army, and not the whole army. For example in 'Main Hoon Nah' they depicted Pak-Army as peaceful and friendly towards India, while at the same time targeted some extremist elements in their own Indian Army.WTF ``In my objective observation, most Bollywood movies made on the subject are not anti-Pakistan as a nation, rather they are anti-terrorism and anti-Army``.
This is a very childish statement.FYI the army u r talking about here is PAKISTAN ARMY.So anything thats anti-pakistan army is ****** anti-pakistan thing

Really? Only "Christian" movie that "demonised" Muslims was made 10 years ago. It was called Kingdom of Heaven, and even there Muslim General Salahuddin was shown as a legendary warrior. Shame Shame! In the same way Christendom uses movies as propaganda and demonising Muslims. Indians are learning from their new masters on art of conditioning their population to hate Pakistan.
And how do u know that???Ever visited Pakistan??????I know Bollywood has a huge impact on Every Pakistani's life but people here do not admit it.
A pakistani when wakes up and switches on Tv or Radio he get to hear Bollywood songs.
A pakistani when calls to someone he hears Bollywood song caller tune and also his own ringtone is also bollywood song.
When he is driving his car he sees poster of bollywood celebrities on Big billboards in his city.
when wants to go to see theater he sees Bollywood movies.
When he returns home he again sees Bollywood Movies.
I would like to suggest everyone to look the trailers of these movies.
Does that matter....The thing is they always blame PA/ISI for all the terrorism in india without any proof and justification.and ignore that india itself is/has been involved in supporting terrorist organisations like BLA,BLF,LTTE,MUKTI BAHINI,etc.Sorry, I haven't seen any movie regarding Kargil conflict. I will try later sometime.

No, in many movies they have depicted their own separatist movements quite well. India is in no way an angelic stateBut in movies, they present pakistan as a rogue state infested with terorists while india as "doodh ka dhula hua"
I have been trying to start this thread for weeks, but it took me some time to revisit all the movies that I have seen over the years regarding Indo-Pak affairs. In my objective observation, most Bollywood movies made on the subject are not anti-Pakistan as a nation, rather they are anti-terrorism and anti-Army. They usually seek to expose Pakistan Army's alleged role in funding and training of armed Islamic Jihadis aka. 'terrorists' in their so-called holy war of 'Ghazwa-e-Hind'.
But at the same time, there are other movies that give us a positive message about peaceful coexistence, not only between our people but also between our radical governments and warring armies. Here are my all-time favorites in chronological order:
Border (1997) - IMDb
Mission Kashmir (2000) - IMDb
Gadar: Ek Prem Katha (2001) - IMDb
The Hero: Love Story of a Spy (2003) - IMDb
Veer-Zaara (2004) - IMDb
Main Hoon Na (2004) - IMDb
Ek Tha Tiger (2012) - IMDb
PK (2014) - IMDb
Please let us know if any of these movies molded your views on Pakistan in a positive or negative way. Also add other movies in the list if you believe they had a greater impact on you, emotional or otherwise.

As stated above, most of the bollywood movies based on Indo-Pak affairs don't target Pakistan as a nation. It targets the army and intelligence agencies. Frankly, not more than 5% (could be even lesser) movies made in India are based on the such themes. Ftw, out of the stated movies in OP Mission Kashmir is by far my favorite. The innocence of Hrithik as a misguided Kashmiri kid and Sanjay Dutt's performance as a police office were exemplary.

Kingdom of Heaven (2005) - IMDb
Nope. It is based on a novel with imaginary fantasy characters. Nothing to do with any real world muslims. Go read the novels first:Lord of the Rings ??? It is also showing the Evil as Muslims....
The only good movie regarding Kargil is Lakshaya( depicting Barkha Dutt), LoC is lame.Sorry, I haven't seen any movie regarding Kargil conflict. I will try later sometime.
