No wonder she cheated on him.

Bo Xilai, the Chinese power baron whose wife is accused of fatally poisoning her British lover, had at least 100 mistresses of his own, it was revealed yesterday.

Bo was a playboy who wielded huge power for five years as ruler of Chongqing, the world’s largest city, according to Chinese journalist Jiang Weiping, who has reported on the Bo family’s corruption.

“I think it’s an extremely conservative guess to say he had 100 mistresses,” he told National Public Radio.
Jiang added, “He also used women as a commodity to give to other officials.”

Must-Reads From Around the World: April 24, 2012 | Global Spin | TIME.com

China’s Crisis - As the Bo Xilai saga continues, the New York Times reveals that for much of the last decade, while the now-disgraced official was moving up the ranks of the Communist Party, his relatives were using his influence to quietly amass wealth estimated at more than $160 million. Bo’s downfall has surely changed the fortunes of his family, but The New Yorker wonders about the long-term impact on the Communist Party and on the future of China’s political landscape itself.

Remember, Bo is just a typical Chinese government official and they are all like him.

I think BO is being fed to the sharks here...His image is being tarnished ever since there was a threat from him to the princeling...You maybe looking at a media disinformation campaign at work here !

My neighbor can't afford 1 mistress :hitwall: and he was dealing with 100 :cheesy:

Truly deserve to lead most emerging nation of the world

Obama was briefed immediately about death of British ex-pat Neil Heywood, whose 'killer may have had a plane blown out of the sky'

Last night it was claimed that the couple ordered a plane to be blown out of the sky in a bid to kill a rival politician's wife.

China Northern Airlines flight 6136 crashed into the sea by the port city of Dalian, where Bo was mayor, in May 2002.

The disaster killed 112 - including Li Yanfeng, wife of Han Xiaoguang, a wealthy hotelier and ally of Bo's political opponents.

The Bo Xilai / Gu Kailai connection

On 22nd April 2012, an article in The Daily Mail quoting an interview with Chinese journalist Jiang Weiping in The Sunday Express, claimed that the destruction of Flight 6136 was ordered by Bo Xilai and his wife Gu Kailai in order to silence Li Yanfeng, wife of Han Xiaoguang, a wealthy hotelier and ally of Bo's political opponents.
Mrs Li was returning from Beijing after petitioning for the release of her jailed husband. She was allegedly carrying letters pleading for his release which were written by the daughters of Communist Party general secretary, Hu Jintao, and former president Li Xiannian.
Chinese journalist Jiang Weiping, who was being held with Han after accusing the Communist Party of embezzlement, told the Sunday Express details of the crash were covered up and the black box was never discovered. The official news agency Xinhua report blaming passenger Zhang Pilin - a former member of the secret police for setting fire to the plane in a suicide attack, is dismissed by Jiang as being a scapegoat.
Quoting Jiang, the article says "Jiang said Han told him he believes Gu and Bo sabotaged the aircraft to assassinate his wife."[1]

I read about some Chinese business man who held a beauty contest among his 30 mistresses to decide whom to keep and whom to let go. That dude with 30 mistresses was a pauper next to Bo.

damn 100 mistresses chinese men got some big pimpin goin on...... :smokin:

I think 100 is just too much. You can't keep them all satisfied. I say 20 is enough for a man with a high libido!

Anyhow, Hu Jintao's populist faction is hitting the princeling faction hard by releasing Bo's secrets like this. But the sad thing is that the Chinese public is asking "What about other officials if Bo was like this?"

If a man who was not seen as corrupt is this much corrupt, then what about the other officials seen as corrupt? When the research disclosed that the government officials embezzled $500 billion, it may have been an understatement because Gu Kailai alone has $1 billion.

A comfy apartment, a BMW, and a credit card with high allowance will satisfy them.

I'm talking about keeping the women satisfied, not the other way around. You can't pack 100 women into a BMW and assume they'd be happy. :P

This is only two of many, if not all, South Korea presidents involved, indicted or died because of their involvements in corruptions.

Everyone knows Lee Myung Bak is a corrupt man, but his corruption accusations predates his swearing into office, not the direct bribe-takings/embezzlement kind of corruption. Lee Myung Bak made his money by using confidential information to buy land on the cheap before the development project is announced, and lobbied things to go his way as a private businessman like moving a final location of a subway station right in front of land he owned.

If is a pretty different kind of corruption as he was using insider information to enrich himself as a private businessman before his political career, not as a government official taking bribes and embezzling money. Improper use of his authority as major and president is something that even his harshest critics could not uncover.

President Roh was innocent, he decided to take the hit for his wife who took $300K for unknown reason. He did this to stop the investigation against his wife(and the prosecution stopped investigation against her in the aftermath), not because he was corrupt.

This is only two of many, if not all, South Korea presidents involved, indicted or died because of their involvements in corruptions.
- Yi Seungman : Not corrupt. He resigned because of his intention to run for 3rd term.
- Park Jong Hee : Not corrupt. His daughter leads the presidential race today because of the extremely positive image inherited from his father who was considered a selfless patriot who left his children $300K when he was assassinated.
- Jun Do Hwan : Corrupt <= Took $300 million, Court took back $200 million to date
- Noh Tae Woo : Corrupt <= Took $300 million, Court took back $250 million to date
- Kim Young Sam : Not corrupt. It was his son selling his father's name.
- Kim Dae Joong : Corrupt.
- Roh Moo Hyun : Not corrupt.
- Lee Myung Bak : Not corrupt as a politician. The corruption allegations predates his time in office and he is accused of betting on insider information as a private business.

So why does Lee Myung Bak have no corruption allegations while in office? Because of the extensive monitoring system by political parties and the press. The opposition parties constantly dig dirt on the other party's members, so it is difficult to be corrupt while in office as the other guys are constantly looking for any dirt. Likewise the conservative press dig dirt on left-wing politicians, and the leftwing press dig dirt on the conservative politicians.

Park Jong Hee was assassinated.
Jun Do Hwan : Corrupt <= Took $300 million, Court took back $200 million to date
Noh Tae Woo : Corrupt <= Took $300 million, Court took back $250 million to date
Kim Young Sam his son used his name for private gains
Roh Moo Hyun committed suicide and debatable on corruption
Kim Dae Joong : Corrupt.
Lee Myung Bak has 10 relatives on corruption, he was corrupted before.

My take is of all presidents of South Korea only Park Jong Hee was not involved with corruption because he was assassinated. Roh Moo Hyun commited suicide to take heat off from his wife. There you go all South Korean Presidents are not innocent from corruptions.
