I have presented my arguments many times before that it is simply not in US national interest to destabilize Pakistan in any way. The only worries that arise come from trends in the persistent and rising inability of its governance structures to deal with internal threats and issues.

"In any way" is not quite right but generally I agree with you that destabilizing Pakistan will create more headaches for the West and the US. While Governance has and continues to remain an issue the fence will hopefully stop the transmigration allowing isolation of nefarious elements and hopefully give more stability. However the Government wilp also have to sort out genuine grievances of the people. There is a lot still to be done in this field.

As I have observed many times, let us judge the present setup according to the promises made only towards the end of its term in sorting out genuine grievances of the people. As you say, there is still a lot to be done in this field that would help stability, if it can be achieved.

look I get it, the Taliban victory was indeed a strategic one yes, it would have worked 70 years ago, but now the world is souring on the Talibs and even mortified. Pakistan has chosen the Chinese camp, sooner or later the lines from pak to the west will close and this will affect Pakistan negatively.

Everybody in media and politics is asking Blinken to resign. Since they know Biden is Deep state puppet and is not easy to impeach.

Republican wants a sacrificial goat after Biden’s blunders in Afghanistan. Although it has very little to do with Biden and more to do with Pentagon.
