When you guys are free from Zia, Bhutto, Mirza, Najafi, Saudi and so on please let me know whats new about this blast other than claim from TTP coupled with another claim of hitting US, and UK coinciding with US decision to blacklist it two days back.

IN Balochistan its BLA.

rest the patten seems to be coordinated by all terrorist orgs.

I say we must ban these processions from all sides keeping in view law and order situation in the current scenario. We here in Peshawar have seen life gets paralised due to these processions and threats are multiplied. Terrorists are already doing the rounds and such occasions are an easy target

Please think before writing some thing. why dont you see the purpose of the rally which was to end the illegal occupation of Kibla-e- awal (al-quds) by Israel. If you think that these kind of blasts will stop people demanding the end of illegal occupation of Israel on Gaza and Palistanie then you are mistaken.

I think you will find she thinks far more than you understand.

What you seem to be avoiding in this thread is the "WHY"? and "How" - Shirk, Bida, mortad, Munafiq, etc.,, these have become mothers milk to Pakistanis -- see, every kind of religiosity has consequences - If you are persuaded as so many Pakistanis by a particular kind of religosity, then war against Shi'ah, war against any who do not share your religiosity becomes the same as the content of confession - you can see this on the " former Pakistan ambassador ... thread on the current affairs board.

Now, whether Zia or the Saudi or the whatever are what you are persuaded by, it has consequences for all Pakistanis - whether you admit it or not.

while leveling my horde paladin. I am wondering how off topic we have got

the TTP spokesman says that killing Shias is the revenge for killing innocent sunnis... /cough (by whom I ask)
by the same takfiri group is the answer
he continues by saying that although their main aim is fighting US soldiers and Pakistan goverment but shias are also their target

DAWN.COM | Pakistan | Taliban say their bomber attacked Quetta rally

Taliban commander Qari Hussain Mehsud tells The Associated Press that though they are fighting the US and the Pakistani government, ''Shias are also our target.''—AP

Who isn't a target for these lunatics. Anyone with a different ideology or thinking is their target.

I hope all others make them their own target.

Indeed spot on sir. Just another pathetic attempt at exploiting the present scenario and the fact that the military is occupied elsewhere. Perfect opportunity to stoke the fires of hatred at a time when the nation needs unity above all else.

so they are killing Shias as a revenge for the sunnis they killed earlier. some logic is that
it appears that they have lost the taste for fighting the armed forces of pakistan or the NATO so the easy way out for getting 72 virgins is take out the soft targets

es we can beat them once we stop differentiating between the faiths, sects fo the victims and only recognise them as Pakistanis killed at the hands of the enemies of the state

Exactly sir, targets that hit back cost lives, ammo, resources and dampen morale. Kill shia's balms sunnis, kill sunnis balme shias.

Return on capital employed is very cost effective, makes business sense for these fundies. Shame Pakistanis are busy bickering over who qualifies as muslim :blah::blah:... I think what the people need is an entrenching of the belief that nation and fraternity before all else.

In unity is our strength.

And if you determined that meant Pakistan should celebrate Jews, Israel, and Zionism, what would you do?

I don't really see what Isreal has to do with the subject, nevertheless the points you have highlighted don't bother me, so long as our nation survives.

So far the biggest threat to Pakistan is from the radical non state actors conducting a dirty way under the guise of "Islam".

I know i will get flack for saying this, but if that is what they call "islam" i must be a heathen. Pakistan is better than this, it deserves better, it is a test of our resolve and history will judge us on the stance we take.

No more double games, no more jacks in the box. In the words of Terry Thomas "it's Monte Carlo or bust".

And if you determined that meant Pakistan should celebrate Jews, Israel, and Zionism, what would you do?

Jews -- sure why not? Though we have little to no exposure to them in Pakistan.

israil --maybe, once the Palestine issue is solved justly

zionism --never. It isnt even a religious principle; how is it that ultra-orthodox Jews themselves are ardently opposed to it; and less practicing Jews (mostly U.S. born and with no relations at all to ''israil'' or Middle East') in support of it?

Judaism is a religion, not an ethnicity. There is no problem with the religion at all. The problem is the hawks bigots and zealouts using the holocaust, ''anti semitism'' card, and zionism as justification for murder, displacement of peoples, and imposing will on others

if somebody didnt know we were talking about zionism or israel, he/she would possibly mistake the aforementioned as the tactics of TTP and the sectarian militant groups!

I'll be damned!

I posed a similar question earlier in the day. Post number 103!

"At last, one thing comes to my mind. Even though the Saudis try to push their agenda, why do we buy it?

Who are the real culprits? Saudis, yes they are but why do we buy their ideology?
Consciousness of our people? No education, perhaps?"

Then count me as a heathen too - I'm with you.
