Police in Pak is nothing but private militias of politicians (kpk police is a bit better) people don't realize that police IS a line of defense of every country and they need to be strengthened and made independent in order for them to work and do their job.

To avoid becoming too general, I'll be specific to this problem. We know this is coming from Afghanistan. Now, in order to contain it ,you need:

1. Border management.
2. Surveillance of Afghans entering Pakistan.
3. Surveillance of money transactions.
4. Monitoring materials that can be used in making bombs. Tracing the materials back to source. Tracing the DNA of criminals back to source.

All of this is NOT ISI's job. ISI's job is to take the fight to the enemy, and monitor our international interests. If they failed to inform us that the source is in Afghanistan with Indian backing, then yes, they would have failed. They have done their jobs and now it is the government's responsibility to ensure peace and security in the country.

Members kindly avoid throwing tantrums etc as we all understand that in such moments we cannot control our emotions but still, don't fall into propaganda to malign or badmouth our own security forces though we must remember their sacrifices as well while we were sleeping in luxury beds. Responsibility falls equal upon civil administration as well as security forces however, on other hand, we must not forget that we are in a war against not one but many enemies at once. To be very honest, just look at the conditions being put by Political/ruling party against any Security OP in any city which actually hurts their assets as their help in election and all. Intel Agencies gather the data as much as it can, evaluates the level of threat and analyse the situation in parameters then informs accordingly to the civil administration to take appropriate measures so name calling or maligning wouldn't do any good at all.

Our army sounds like a money worshipper that could form a military alliance with the wealthy Saudi and give life for the Bastard Saudi against the bloody iran but same is not shown to own province .

1. A small group of terrorists(mostly 4-6) plans an attack
2. Works on logistics
3. Collects resources and finances to execute an attack
4. Gets suicide bomber from Afghanistan
5. Executes an attack

Not in all this process, it is your intel agencies that collect all the information. Pin point presence and existence of the terrorists in a locality. Shares that information to police/FC. Police and FC work on that intel to arrest or eliminate that small group of terrorists.

Now in today's attack like hundreds of other attacks that happened in Pakistan, intel agencies failed to locate and track presence of terrorists and their hideout. When they failed so then police and FC too failed since they had no information to work on.

So it is failure of intel agencies basically along with other security agencies that include both FC and police.

The local police officer can stop such attacks even before they start making the plan.

But the police is politically misused.

Blame the civilian setup and act to change it. Nobody is willing to end the status quo.

Are you that moronic or what?

How government is going to stop terrorism? Do they have a crystal ball in which they would look into to find out terrorists?

They need same intelligence agencies to locate these terrorists. And if these intel agencies fail then government would fail too.

Intel agencies work is not to just say an attack is going to happen in Quetta. There job is to track and locate exact location of terrorists.

Our intel agencies work opposite of what they are supposed to do. They just say that an attack is going to happen. But don't do anything to avoid that attack.

if we can't create a good intelligence network in our own country then I doubt that we have any kind of network in India or in Afghanistan to secure our interests.
