Almost all channels reported the Gulberg blast but it never happened. The forensic teams just left the area so it is too early to tell. As I quoted above I have three thing lets see what it come out to be. If you don't find ball bearings or remains of Suicide bomber then it is better to investigate the matter.

Whilst I can understand your desire to hear from the horses mouth let me explain a few things to you:
1. Not all devices have ball bearings, ball bearings are found in fragmentation type devices some devices rely on incendiary, blast overpressure and secondary fragmentation as a result of broken glass and objects propelled outward as a result of the blast.
2. Not all devices are BBIED(Body Borne IED / Suicider) there are several classifications:
BBIED ( Body Borne )
VBIED ( Vehicle )
FEIED ( Fuel Enhanced IED )
RC/Command Controlled IED
Anti Tamper / Anti Handling IED
UWIED ( Under Water IED )
Climate & Pressure Devices
Signal Trigger IED
Photolense IED
Splatter Charge
Daisy Chain
Water Gel
Shaped Charge

These are just a few I will not go through the whole list here, my point being please don't get hung on up people finding "ball bearings" an average IED can produce over 5,000 PSI, the human ear drum ruptures at 14.5 psi, a pressure of 60+ psi will puncture human lungs and damage internal organs, it only takes 687 psi to break a concrete slab 2x8x16.

I will not lecture you on IEDs, but I just wanted to let you know that there is more than one type of device, not all devices have ball bearings as they may or may not rely on fragmentation. 10kg of explosive is a heck of a lot, it's not chump change.

But I will agree with you on one thing, a PBI ( Post Blast Investigation ) can take time, it is not a 30 min thing. Even if they can determine the type of explosive used by using a swab and test kit or a trace kit, they can estimate the size of explosive used by calculating the "seat of the blast"/crater. This can all take time, but in Pakistan sub kuch chalta hain!

Punjab CTD says explosive device likely cause, cannot say if bomb went off accidentally or not.

Apparently, investigators also suspecting untimely explosion.

Army didnot created raw or modi to do bomb blasts in pakistan to avoid a cricket match hapning in the city. If we wanted to target soft targets i.e schools or cricket grounds or shoping centre your country would been best target but we pak army dont kill civilians like your coward hindus do in other countries supporting bla bra and ttp to bleed pakistan nothing else

You are correct in what you listed. I have not been to the place personally but I have seen the videos in the news and pic here. I also know the place personally because my house is in the area. the Blast took place inside a building. There was only one opening for the blast that was the front of the building. Watching at some of the videos published the there was a lot of dust in the air when the blast took place so I will give consider it as there were cement bags inside the building that caused the dust, now the media said that there was 8 to 10 kg of explosives so that means most of people dead were inside the building may be construction workers in the building. the derby reached the cars outside so that means the blast had restriction and hurdles to exit a building and this provided enough congestion to create a big sonic boom and shatter most of the glass in the surrounding buildings. it could be a gas cylinder as there was construction work going on and the building was also to become a restaurant but if it was a gas cylinder they would have reported as cylinders are very hard and forensics should have found the remains of cylinder so there are many things missing to reach a decision. Arynews is constantly saying it a bomb but other channels are now reluctant and the reason is that there are so many open targets there why an empty building. So I am not ruling out the possibility of a premature explosion as well.

And one more thing to add if it was terrorist this was not the time to explode the bomb the market gets crowd at the evening. I live there and I know that at evening there is not even an empty space to walk into the place and at afternoon the place is almost empty.

What it was for now I don't know but lets see what the authorities give us.
