Stay safe, and RIP to the dead.

Ok, now waiting to hear as per below:

(a) Poor BD youth being forced to do this because of BD government's policies.
(b) Involvement of RAW.
(c) I may be sitting in Canada/ USA but the solution for the rest of you in BD is more religion, more totalitarianism.

But I'm waiting to hear some known leader now going to blame Jamat and BNP for this attack.

Link please?

So plenty of terrorist/extremist ideology has infiltrated BAL as well? I guess the rumors were true...and this is a really bad news for Bangladesh.

. .
We will have to help Bangladesh separate its wheat from the chaff it seems.....and then help in burning the chaff.

Looks to be the only way I am afraid.
Yeah and you're doing a very good job at that.

Apparently they tried to breach the security cordon, when they understood police is vigilant and it's almost impossible, they attacked a checkpoint almost one kilometer away from the target, blasted homemade improvised type bomb (generally a cocktail or somewhat of a hard object used as shell containing heavy explosive and metal objects as shrapnel, that's the common type used by JMB and other local terror groups), at least two Police member were seriously wounded, then they tried to hack one wounded Police constable.

Other Police members from the patrol replied with fire and killed one terrorist. Then the terrorists tried to flee the scene and entered various houses around the checkpoint and a school. Police and RAB sealed the security cordon and surrounded the terrorists from all sides, mofos fired on the Police and a gunfight started. BGB were reached the scene within few minutes of the first blast

One Police constable died due to wounds received from the blast while on the way to hospital. Another died in the hospital. One civilian died in the gun fire, she was inside her house, strayed round entered the house through a open window.

At least twelve wounded including Police and civilians. Three other terrorist arrested(one wounded during the gun fight) . Police already started "jamai ador",from the statement of a police officer, this won't stop anytime soon.

Once India stops meddling and funding these terrorists events of this nature will end. Terrorism exists in Pakistan in places such as Balochistan and separatist groups such as BLA are still active because of foreign funding. India is fulfilling its whims and desires. India is obviously trying to play America version 2 in its own neighbourhood.

It's evident that certain politicians in BD are on a external payroll, that's what the game of politics is in BD, who can fill up their pocket the most whatever means necessary. It's easy to support AL when you live in an upmarket area of Dhaka drinking nice bottled water and wearing luxury imported sarees and trying to imitate a borrowed culture. Ahh the Aram life.

A machete was found with the four suspected assailants, who attacked Sholakia Eidgah today, leaving four people dead, and were caught from the spot.

"A machete and a modern pistol were found in their possession," Abu Sayem, additional superintendent of Kishoreganj police, told The Daily Star.

They were held from the spot and were being interrogated in police custody. However, police denied to reveal their identities or origin.

The suspected assailant, who was killed in action, said to have had a specialised pocket in his trousers that could sheath a machete, Bangla daily Prothom Alo reports.

The machete link was found in the covert killings of secular activists, writers, foreign nationals and members of religious minority throughout - believed to be militant work.

The machete first appeared in the murder of a blogger - Rajib Haider - back in 2013 and continued to strike writers, other activists. Islamic State and al-Qaeda in the Indian Subcontinent claimed responsibility of the murders.

The use of sharp weapons - swords - were found in the latest incident of Dhaka restaurant attack - which also was claimed by the Islamic State.

However, today's attack at Sholakia is yet to be claimed by any terrorist or militant group.
