Great photo. My grandfather is immediately to the left of Sam Manekshaw. Thanks for sharing.

It's better now because our links with our Chinese and Turkish brothers and sisters is now growing leaps and bounds........8-)

Pakistan has to integrate its economy with Turkey. The popularity of Turkish shows will hopefully create a new market for Turkey and improve the quality of Pakistan’s own production so that third rate Bollywood musicals don't find any fans in Pakistan.

This is the dream of every Pakistani, will the Arabs and the US allow this is a million dollar question. Any Govt that will try to go in the Turkish-Chinese camp will be removed and later on maligned by the PLAYERS.

Kindly share some details about your grandfather:agree:
His name was Col Yahya Abidi. He was commissioned in the Cavalry and retired later to go into the Civil Service. The interesting thing about the first IMA course was that beside Gen Musa, it had a few more Pakistani officers of note including Lt. General Habibullah (father of Lt Gen Ali Quli Khan Khattak, CGS) and Brigadier Gulzar (author of the famous book "The Prophet's concept of war") who are all well known personalities in the Pakistan Army.

The journey (family and service) continues by the grace of the Almighty. Just found out that my nephew joined the 145 PMA LC intake. Could not be more proud. Godspeed!

Edit: Mistakenly I had put 146 LC earlier.
