Blast at ANP rally kills six in Quetta

At least six people were killed and several others injured when a bomb went off in Kachlak area of Quetta on Friday morning.

According to the police, the blast took place when a bomb fixed on a motorbike went off near a public gathering held by Awami National Party (ANP) in Kuchlak, a small town some 20 km away from Quetta,

At least six persons were killed while several others were injured in the blast.

The blast was followed by intense gunfire triggering panic among the people who burst into stampede in a market which is usually crowded at that time of the day.

Security forces and rescue team rushed to the site shortly after the blast was reported. All the injured were shifted to hospital in Quetta. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack till filing this report.

The investigations into the incident have been started. The incident took place shortly before the Prime Minister Pervez Ashraf is reportedly scheduled to arrive in Quetta. Pervez Ashraf said in his first speech after he was elected as the country's new prime minister that his top priority is to solve the Balochistan problem.

Located in the country's southwest bordering Iran and Afghanistan, Balochistan is the largest province in Pakistan with a mixed population of Shiite and Sunny Muslims. Sectarian attacks and separatist activities are frequently reported there, posing a serious threat to the country's stability.

unfortunately for all those undeveloped hearts, none of the three support Army- so army is in apni auqat right now !!

Its better that army learns to device a strategy to win the war, then to continue to conquer their own country.

its dam awam who had chossen tis govt, it was allways army which keeps giving its blood for the defence of the country, while
our politicians, were allways found bzy disscusing thier political future with the foriegn delegts!
SC is been left in monte carlo, & no one needs a gambling SC in monte carlo!
