Blackhawks carrying ÖKK operators pass Syrian Border for the kidnapped Army NCO

Why coalition countries don't dedicate ground forces against ISIS ? Same reason. Nobody wants to suffer casualties in an irrelevant war.

Yes but failure to act will have big consequences for Turkey. It is Turkey that is surrounded by the levant region, not Germany, France or USA.

I don't think like you bro... ISIS wouldn't dare to go all out on Turkey.

What makes you so sure? That's what they thought about Iraq after the US left. Also, ISIS might not be able to over run Turkey, but their splinters can surely wreak havoc....considering Turkey is already fighting against the Kurds.

The root of the problem is not something Turkey can change. Turkey can kill many isis with ease, but what good is this when in the next few years/decade likeminded terrorists spawn? Syria and Iraq should address these social and political core issues themselves. People should ask themselves why isis was able to become this successful. Some people solely blame foreign fighters out of blind nationalism/hatred, but afaik they are the minority in isis. it's a sensitive issue that needs a long-term solution by these countries.

Also, several parties, incl. pyd/pkk and Assad, don't want Turkey's help. I only see Turkey stepping in once Syria and/or Iraq are/is about to be overrun by isis, which is not going to happen afaik.

Mate , as far as i see our Pakistani friends tends make arguments from their experience with Taliban.

What makes you so sure?
Nobody can be %100 sure about this issue. I'm just stating my opinion.

That's what they thought about Iraq after the US left.
Iraq has a very weak army when compared to Turkey.
Also, Maliki's secterian policies helped ISIS to gain support from the sunni population. There is no base support for ISIS in Turkey.

Also, ISIS might not be able to over run Turkey, but their splinters can surely wreak havoc....
At most they can explode bombs in border gates, some ISIS guys can infiltrate and can blow them selves in crowded places, they can target our patrolling vehicles on the border. They can never control a region or land in Turkey.

Turkey's response can be very harsh and they will be inflicted more damage then they inflicted.

considering Turkey is already fighting against the Kurds.
Mate, regarding PKK...things are call since 2013. Also they are 5000 manned terrorist organization with hit and run-tactics..Yeah, they were disturbing us like a mosquito but they can never militarily challenge Turkey.

I know they cannot challenge militarily, that's the whole concept of insurgents/terrorists. But they can cause havoc and instability in regions.

You need base support for a situation like Iraq and Syria which simply doesnt exist in Turkey, pkk in this matter is in a much better position than Isis, isis has nothing in their hand against Turkey, south eastern Kurdish villages in Turkey are armed to teeth by state against pkk with so called ''Village Guards'', SE Turkey would be a jihadist grinder if they would ever dare to attack.

And not to mention that i left out NATO completely.

Mate, as far i know from these issues. Terrorist organizations sets a goal for them selves.

-PKK's goal is to establish an Independent Kurdish State.
-ISIS's goal is to establish an Islamic Caliphate in Levant.

ISIS won't achieve anything by attacking to Turkey, their fight is in Syria and Iraq At the same way, Turkey won't achieve anything by attacking ISIS.

. . . . .
Lol. Army should have looked for better reasons and justifications to enter Syria. The dude followed a bunch of smugglers on his own? Yeah very believeable.
