Well, many of them are problematic people, no doubt. But not because the are what they are born as, but simply because they don't adhere to local customs and respect others. For example, Nigerians sadly have a notorious reputation in cities like Mumbai and Delhi as well as educational cities like Pune. They are into drug trafficking, bullying, illegal trades and other things.

But there are good folks as well, particularly from Kenya. Kenyans have a very cool temperament compared to Nigerians and west Africans.

I don't know how but have come across many to say this.

Also people from African countries are not bad people, but due to the difference in culture and customs, they don't seem to care much about the law in terms of petty offenses. In China law is the law, and it is obeyed to the letter. Hence Africans can feel safe in China, and anyone can feel safe walking at night or anywhere.

Drugs may not be a big deal in Africa, but in China, it's a big deal. I can see how someone from Nigeria wouldn't understand, just like if a Chinese were to go to Africa, there is also a divide.

This is not about demographics. China has. Invested heavily in Africa. The negative side of investments is what you are seeing here.
If we have a demographic issue we would import vietnamese and north koreans.

I hope China does not become multicultural mess that Western countries have become. When China becomes developed and implement social safety nets like state welfare, many African immigrants will take advantage and see it as their right to have it, without working for it. China must implement tight immigration policies that the West failed to do and repatriate as many illegals as they can now and send a message to any would-be illegal workers, who try to sneak into China, that they will be kicked out straight away. It may sound harsh, but I believe very necessary. All legal African workers in China who obey the law and work for their living of course should be left alone.
