BLA Watch

.
Just in: 66 members of BLA, LeJ and SSP are arrested by FC and huge cache of weapon is recovered.

This is from FC watchdog? You sure get information no where in the news. I searched on the web for a bit but found nothing.

Do you have any report on those arrested or operation details? There must be some record they maintain.

These things don't come in the media, especially considering that the raid took place somewhere in Balochistan.

What FC wants, it does...

I would like to rely as a journalist on you as a source for my articles though I do not wish to trouble you too often. You are in the FC?

With the extra powers... well yeah.

I have heard of this before for my research on FATA and many parts of Pakhtunkhwa. Tribal warfare is often unreported and a lot of attacks by lashkars on militants too. The only information for FATA is from either local people if one can get access to them or the army-media has no real access. You can go there only with the army and come out with them-there is little talk with local people on those trips.

Its all musharaf fault to kill akbar bugti and he was not so bad like altaf hussain, so bringing altaf into govt. helped pakistan so he is also taking active part in politics. baluchs are our brothers, first try to bring political and influential people to handle matter while control borders, areas and plan intelligence network and strict actions against criminals

I wish I had committed that "fault" years ago before well before Akbar Bughti has had Kulber Bughtis slaughters and their corpses dragged on the road and their women violated
I wish some other son of Pakistan has had him killed the same way innocent civilians, doctors, engineers, teachers, shopkeepers were abducted, tortured and killed

I wish someone had killed him before he turned our infrastructure into rubble.

yes its all Musharaf's fault that he took too long to had him killed after the deaths of countless Punjabis, Sindhis, Pashtons and Mohajirs and all those Baloch who didnt follow his line.

QUETTA: At least six people, including a ‘commander’ of the proscribed Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), were killed Thursday in an operation by security forces in Kalat district of insurgency-hit Balochistan province, security officials told DawnNews.

A spokesman for the Frontier Corps (FC) said that an operation was carried out in the Mangochar area of Kalat district Thursday morning.

The spokesman confirmed that a BLA commander was among six people killed in the offensive. He added that forces had also arrested five people from the area and that a cache of arms and ammunition was recovered from them.

The FC spokesman added that the operation was carried out following directions from the provincial administration.

What reasons may be behind the fact that our military does not state these successes to the media? If that was done then maybe pressure on the military would be much less? Does the same thing happen in Pakhtunkhwa/FATA too? Operations unrecorded by the media but taking place anyway?

I try to search for your information but never find anything-it is from inside sources.

Media is actually against the Army with people like Hamid Mir and Asma Jhangir. They wouldn't want Army to be supported in, especially in the Balochistan issue when they are working towards stability of a issue which has been selling as hot pancakes against Pakistan Army in the whole world.

And yes, this is from inside source too.

Now wait for sympathisers, relatives wowing to avenge his death from Pak Army.

I am amazed that at the logic; TTP is killing Pak Army Jawans and civilians every day; it is justified because PA is fighting America’s war and innocents are being killed in US drone attacks. But when PA kills terrorists, they say we are killing our countrymen! Basically it means that war is lost before firing a single shot.

I used to hear that big empires such the Roman and the Ottoman fell due to the rot from within. I am seeing the same situation in Pakistan.

You see TTP terrorists proudly showing off their Ak-47 on the front page of the newspapers. Yesterday terrorists attacked Army Camp at Lucky Marwat killing 13 jawans. But we have educated members of this forum such as Zarvan & Patriot, politicians such as Munawwar Hassan and Imran Khan who would not condemn Taliban regardless of their butchery. It is clear that religious bigotry is not limited to illiterate mullahs but has succeeded in blinding a large section in all strata of Pakistan society.

Even Army does not support itself. Retired Corps Commanders such as Lt Gen Shahid Aziz stating in his book that we are killing our own people, clearly indicates that such thinking must permeate thru rank & file of armed forces as well.

This war is never going to be won as long as this situation continues.

.

That was particularly surprising, more so than the Kargil conflict which was the topic of the talk show...a retired Lt Gen who was Corp Commander, DG Analysis in ISI and a Former CGS says this, then you know that something is wrong somewhere...

.
DG ISPR: ISI is operating within its constitutional parameters and during the last four months it had carried out 130 intelligence operations in Balochistan and prevented several terrorist incidents. 39,000kgs of explosives were recovered in August last year.
