BJP warns govt. over Kashmir

Please don't ask this question atleast from those who has lost their family members while fighting in Kashmir!!!!
So that we can lose more civilian's and army men in future.
Kashmir is nothing but a false pride for both Indians and Pakistan's.

well if you feel that way, then dont you feel that a referendum is the quickest way out of this "impasse"

Not really. The population on either side of the border is do not represent the same mindset anymore. Key difference being allowed open migration between Kashmir and rest of Pakistan while the Indian state prevents any such migration into Kashmir.
Both regions are now as diverse from each other as the Punjab regions on either side.

Time for us to make Kashmir a formal state with no special privileges. Allow any Indian from any part of India to go and live there and invest. The time has come, the more we wait, the more advantages our enemy gets to exploit the current scenario. I say build up military first, then declare this. Whoever is not happen, may move away to another country. BYe bYe

Agreed, if Pakistan can allow non-Kashmiris to settle in their part of Kashmir then why should we hesitate to follow the same. Also time has come to split J&K into 3 parts-State of Jammu, State of Kashmir & UT of Ladakh.

Why create a hue and cry to an issue that hasn't even been considered yet.
Nowhere has the government stated that pre-1953 lines will be re-instated.

petty politics.

opposition will have moles in congress administration..
they know wat is govt upto

do you think we can trust congress?
if bjp doesn't raise voice, congress will sell this country...

any attempt by congress to take up the pre 1953 rule,it will wake up the sleeping giant(you know wat i mean)
btw my vote for bjp in center.....

Mole? This looks more like a red herring to me. Quite possible the BJP is just muddying the waters. As for trusting Congress, that's a juvenile remark. If you think that guys like Chidambaram, Pranab Mukherji & Antony would have no compunction being involved in "selling India", then we have a bigger problem than Kashmir. Btw, no matter what the BJP or its supporters say; they are not the sole repositories of patriotism in this country. Mr. Advani has had a long & reasonably distinguished career. He must consider retiring (as he had announced) & not imagining that he & his party are the only patriotic Indians, essentially disrespecting the mandate of the people. If & when his party returns to power, then & only then should they set the agenda, not otherwise.

A very political statement though there is a shade of reality too in that. This is just a message that no compromise should be made on Kashmir than what is right now.

But since BJP is a political party, I don't see anything wrong in making political statements especially when you have almost all Pakistani ppoliticians screaming in an unanimous voice, Kashmir is the core issue.

There needs to be some hawkish statements from India too.

if muslims are ready to commit mass genocide then army is also ready
and believe me, all of us would support army in that case also

Hey Wiat wait,
Who do you think IA comprise of????
Don,t bring IA in your petty politics

There is absolutely no traction in Indian for any kind of solution other than converting the LoC to an IB (open, close, loose, tight...whatever). AB Vajpayee would have been more willing to compromise in 1999 as would Manmohan Singh in 2004-05. However in 2011, the situation is just not the same. Not withstanding last summers protests, India is in the strongest position it has ever been and the position of Pakistan, relatively speaking has never been weaker ( atleast since 1991). What would be the idea to conjure up something that might rock the boat? After 26/11, there is absolutely no appetite for any close relationship to be forged with Pakistan. Talks/no talks, India's position won't change much. If a solution can be found on terms similar to what would be acceptable to the Indian population, there is no harm exploring that. Anything else would be suicide!

BJP the Hindu nationalist party which helped protect my people during the anti Sikh riots of 1984 led by congress hmmm no offense to other indians but the congress party is corrupt useless and full of old timers who look like they need to be walking with a oxygen tank Nehru was a good man with a good heart but very naive i should say his policy with China problem with Kashmir and the splitting of states based on linguistic status only made things worse

i really do not know why Indians vote for congress party don't even get me started on there corruption scandals

Without the signs of fullstop, comma and exclamation, its very difficult to understand, which party is good.

thousands of soldiers on both sides have died for Kashmir... Kashmirs white snow covered valleys and mountains stained with blood of our brothers and sisters and for what? just recognize Loc as IB both sides keep Kashmir i can see why Pakistan wants Kashmir because of water but why does India need ?

1st, I think you will be ready to kill someone if he/she will pose a threat to your family, rt!!! Please don't take it personal.
2nd, what is the guarantee that we will not face any problem after that?
3rd, If it is fine, then we should drop Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Aksai Chin to China. It will also save a lot of lives of our brother and sisters.

You urgently need to know about "Patriotism".

to win an election in india one needs 51% of the votes so u mean that bjp should keep shut till next elections ,do u mean that we 49% should keep shut and be under congress attrocoties until congress goes out of power..Im sorry if such is the mentality of congress then the days are not far when non congress populations(states districts ) will seek freedom from congress ruled states..In short congress is talking this nation in to hell..Their most recent ventures are a just glimpses..The communal bill(against majorities), lokpall version etcetc gives us hints wat lies in future..

On a personal note i think there should be a lie detector test for All the politicians who so ever from wat ever party is in power..wat say congressies agree for it??
