BJP revives temple plan ahead of polls

The last time BJP won was because of the temple issue. They didnt deliver. Now no one will really think that they'd do it if voted for again.

well metalfalcon...the issue is somewhat dormant now...BJP is a communal party though they claim not to be...it would be very hard for them to find a foot-hold in a progressive india.Recently Kalyan Singh a former BJP member and the cM of UP at the time the Babri Masjid was demolished...apologized and took the blame on himself....he has distanced himself from the bjp.

BJP is just doing that to get votes in U.P.Even they know NDA allies wont let them make it.It is just a BS statement by Rajnath Singh as he too is aware that without U.P. NDA has very little chance to come in power.The Temple issue is best left untouched and if to be solved should be done amicably B/W hindus and muslims.

Rite and you and your shining India so proud of Taj Mahal, Lal quilla, kutub Minrar, mughlai food and Sherwani, just to name few that actually left by so called momadic barbarian. Why not give all these things up and be proud of your hidnu culture and let see if anyone even visit shining India. Oh yeah one more thing British also demolished a lot of your Mandir because they found them disgusting place for worship with naked statue all over.........

You are on the wrong page.

India is shining not coz of any or all the things you have mentioned, Its coz of the progress in termsof technology, infrastructure, democracy & the like.

Food or historical monuments do make a nation stand out. Self confidence in itself, not having the necessity to seek / accept loans does count however.

Before anyone dashes off with giving figures on % of poverty etc let me hasten to add that we all started from virtual zero in '47. India being larger & having more population has therefore greater No of fools & corrupt leaders.. still we are fumbling along & are quite happy the way we are.

Lastly, could you kindly share details of mandirs demolished by the brits ?

I think that Congress will definitely win. BJP wont even come close.
