Remember, we are representing our country here and we have 10 to 15% Hindus, as long as even 1% of them is loyal to Bangladesh, we cannot insult them like that.

No one is defending Niazi. I am just countering Indian propaganda which no one (even some pacifist Pakistanis) have dared to counter. The guy may have been incompetent, but he certainly deserve the bad-mouthing by Hindutva terrorists for the last fifty years.

What happens in wartime situations is completely different than at peacetime. The context, repercussions and intent per these former two are different. The guy was given a job to do, and he did the best with what he had.

Some say he surrendered too quickly. He remains controversial in Pakistan too - but you cannot bad mouth a commander when you don't know all about the cards he was dealt, from up his food chain.

Indian propaganda is to benefit Indian viewpoint for last fifty years since 1971 (and for however many decades before that starting in 1947 - with the sole intent to break Pakistan).

Why should I dance to that Indian tune ??

India has sucked the living daylight out of the Bangladesh economy for the last fifty years since 1971. I think we have paid enough to India. Now time for India to do some paybacks.

What would India gain by selling Indian citizenship for propaganda against BD, especially when BD govt is a friend to India?

To some Bangladeshi Hindus, gaddari is second nature, since a bright future is theirs for the calling in India. I personally think the special quotas in Bangladesh for Hindus in jobs and education should be abolished, before there are mass protests and untoward incidents. Quota should not exist, as there are hardly any discrimination in jobs and education against Hindus in Bangladesh anyway. The reverse is not true in India, however.
