That is indeed something even muslim loyalists to India are forced to admit. My cousin said they are like cows without any leader. The moment someone raises their voice against select practices of certain people or certain regimes they are quickly labelled "anti national", "anti Indian" and "against Hindus." Such labelling is far too common there. My cousin was always mocked with "Hey you are a muslim, you must be supporting Pakistan." In the end he started saying "kar lo kuch. I support Pakistan. lol."

I have always thought of the muslims left in India incapable of guarding their own interests. But part of the reason for them not standing up more aggressively to guard their peoples interests is because of such labeling.
