BJP MP warns women of crossing limits or pay like Sita

I wont even try to discuss with you about this. My generation of urban Indians are the future not those backward clown of the RSS. We are the ones protesting against violence against women, especially in those backward rural medieval era areas in rural India. If rural India represents Bharat, it can go to my ***.

These idiots are just insecure loosers trying to desperately hold on on their power by trying to "restrict" freedom of younger generations.

Same generation is talking about the boycott the Republic day. And how.. Well by posting on fb, tweeting :D..
Do you think these rapist are uneducated or old fellas ? Every month in delhi i see some case in which some guys grab girl in car and rape them. Well they are also your Indian generation. I live in delhi, I see daily your this generation. In most eve-teasing cases this generation is involved.

BTW here question is about the generation. Here we are taking about the way our generation is going. No of % who are good is very less. Once here on PDF Krait said that we are lucky that in 1947 there was no internet or else our generation would be fighting via facebook, tweeter.

Mate Lets not get into it . I come from India to Bharat and have seen things firsthand . More crimes , Thuggery , local goons are almighty and all . Crime and Oppression in Bharat is much much worse than in India .

Even in urban or any district, local goons are almighty.

If your army is running because of these Bharat people. :D .. Our today teen can not think beyond bf/gf, fb, sex. Most have short temper issue. Want ex. ? well compare the students in which you passed your 10th,12th and today 10th,12th student. They can talk about revolution etc sh!t, but they can not do any thing.

BTW here if we are talking about Bharat or India, it's not mean that we have to chose 1 of these two. What main thing is we should not accept the bad things from west. And whatever our urban is accepting is most bad only. It's not like rural area or villages are not affected by west. But still the level or crimes is less then urban.

And if we have messed up things it is because of government. They could not provide good law to prevent crimes. They are making cmoon men corrupt. Have you heard about government policy in which they are depositing money in BPL family account. This action ll damage our society.

Seriously ? Does shameless portrayal of murderers desensitized people towards murder?

Do you know who are the people protesting in Delhi, the same generation which watch Hollywood movies, Bollywood movies with sex content etc. which shows rape as well ?

Rape happens in rural India in way large number and there are no films.

Women will be punished like Sita if they cross their limits: BJP's Kailash Vijayvargiya

INDOR: Madhya Pradesh industry minister Kailash Vijayvargiya kicked up yet another controversy in the backdrop of recent crimes against women by asking them to stay within moral limits.

Talking to mediapersons here on Thursday night, the minister drove home his point with an example from mythology. "Ek hi shabd hai- Maryada. Maryada ka Ulanghan hota hai, toh Sita-haran ho jata hai. Laxman-rekha har vyakti ki khichi gayi hain. Us Laxman-rekha ko koi bhi par karega, toh Rawan samne baitha hai, who Sita-haran karke le jayega. (There is a moral limit, which should not be breached, and if it is breached, one must understand that Ravana is watching and then Sita is bound to be abducted), the minister said quoting the Ramayana.
This is not the first time that the Madhya Pradesh industry minister has stirred a row. Last July, Vijayvargiya had said that the women should dress in sync with 'Indian culture' in order to avoid molestation. Then too the minister was in the midst of controversy.

His remarks have cused a major embarrassment for the BJP.

Why not say like "If men crossed their limits they would end up like Ravan"

Rapes prevalent in India, not in Bharat: RSS Chief

when talked about Rapes prevalent in India, not in Bharat:

RSS chief didn't talk about not rural or urban divide. By Bharat he meant cultural india with ancient indian values which treat women as Adi shakti or the supreme power .

PS: News bits are dangerous if not taken in the right context.

25 years' court data proves RSS chief wrong; 75% of rape convicts from 'Bharat'

NEW DELHI: Women's groups have criticised RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat's view on rape in "India" and "Bharat" for being regressive. But data shows that not only are Bhagwat's views regressive, they're also plain wrong.

While the National Crime Records Bureau does not split registered cases of sexual assault by rural and urban areas, Mrinal Satish, an associate professor of law at Delhi's National Law University, used court data to find that 75% of rape cases that led to convictions over the last 25 years were from rural India.

For his doctoral dissertation at the Yale Law School in the US, Satish looked at all high court and Supreme Court cases involving rape reported in the Criminal Law Journal (which reports criminal law cases) between 1983 and 2009 in which at least one court (trial court, HC or SC) had convicted the accused. The data thus does not include cases in which the accused was acquitted at all levels. Satish also had to leave out cases that were not for some reason reported in the Journal.

He found that over 80% of these rape cases in high courts and close to 75% of rape cases in the Supreme Court came from rural areas. Close to 75% of gang rape cases in HCs and 63% of gang rape cases in the SC came from rural areas. Over 65% of cases involving the rape of a child (less than 12 years old) came from rural areas. On average, 75% of all rape cases in higher courts that had led to at least one conviction came from rural areas. While the numbers are fairly proportional to India's rural/urban population, they do disprove Bhagwat's statement that rapes do not take place in rural areas.

"Rape as a tool of caste violence is rampant in rural areas," says Kalpana Viswanath of the women's rights group Jagori. "The controlling of women's bodies through institutions like khap panchayats is also a rural phenomenon," says Viswanath.

Moreover, activists hotly dispute Bhagwat's attempt to draw a correlation between "modernity" and rape. For one, custodial rape, which has little correlation with "modernity", is rampant in India. The case that changed the history of rape law in India, the Mathura rape case in which two policemen in north-east Maharashtra raped a tribal girl in a police station, was a case of custodial rape. Rapes of disabled women, patients in hospitals, children and older women - all with little association with "modernity" - are extremely common, Viswanath adds. "Ultimately this is an attempt to take the debate back to making rape the fault of women, rather than focusing attention on where it's needed, on society and institutions," says Viswanath.

Dont know where to post this report if you guys think we must open it in new thread then will do so otherwise just to have contrast here is what a US judge/law says . Oh the MAN-unkind

Judge: Law won't protect unmarried victims in rapeAssociated Press – Thu, Jan 3, 2013

..LOS ANGELES (AP) — A California appeals court overturned the rape conviction of a man who authorities say pretended to be a sleeping woman's boyfriend before initiating intercourse, ruling that an arcane law from 1872 doesn't protect unmarried women in such cases.

A panel of judges reversed the trial court's conviction of Julio Morales and remanded it for retrial, in a decision posted Wednesday from the Los Angeles-based court.

Morales had been sentenced to three years in state prison. He was accused of entering a woman's bedroom late one night after her boyfriend had gone home and initiating sexual intercourse while she was asleep, after a night of drinking.

The victim said her boyfriend was in the room when she fell asleep, and they'd decided against having sex that night because he didn't have a condom and he had to be somewhere early the next day.

Morales pretended to be her boyfriend in the darkened room, and it wasn't until a ray of light from outside the room flashed across his face that she realized he wasn't her boyfriend, according to prosecutors.

"Has the man committed rape? Because of historical anomalies in the law and the statutory definition of rape, the answer is no, even though, if the woman had been married and the man had impersonated her husband, the answer would be yes," Judge Thomas L. Willhite Jr. wrote in the court's decision.

The appeals court added that prosecutors argued two theories, and it was unclear if the jury convicted Morales because the defendant tricked the victim or because sex with a sleeping person is defined as rape by law.

The court said the case should be retried to ensure the jury's conviction is supported by the latter argument.

The decision also urges the Legislature to examine the law, which was first written in response to cases in England that concluded fraudulent impersonation to have sex wasn't rape because the victim would consent, even if they were being tricked into thinking the perpetrator was their husband.

Willhite noted that the law has been applied inconsistently over the years in California.

In 2010, a similar law in Idaho prevented an unmarried woman from pressing rape charges after being tricked into sex with a stranger by her then-boyfriend.

The judge called what happened "despicable" but said the state's law left the court with no choice. Idaho's law was amended to cover all women in 2011.

Morales' attorney Edward Schulman declined comment when reached by phone Thursday.

Prior to the conviction, Schulman had argued Morales believed the sex was consensual because the victim responded to his kisses and caresses, according to the decision.

Don't speak like an idiot , In dec 16/2012 after the gang rape she was thrown naked into roadside but nobody came forward to helped them, the victim's bf managed to admit her at the hospital. I don't know did you seen the metro train suicide video at PDF those things clearly showing urban people mentality. But such things won't happen(I mean helping tendency) in rural areas so its obvious there is something wrong in urban brought up, tat wat he tries to portray.

What is the soul of eyes? showing mercy , if you can't wat is the use of eyes?.
