Biker Killed, 19 Female Students Hurt In Islamabad Road Accident..video

ISLAMABAD: A man was killed and at least 19 female students of a university injured on Wednesday when a bus met accident in Islamabad this morning.

According to police and rescue officials, the bus carrying more than 50 students of International Islamic University Islamabad went out of driver’s control and rammed into footpath on the Kashmir Highway.
The bus also knocked down a motorbike rider, who died on way to hospital.

Police said at least 19 students were injured in the mishap, with none of them said to be critical, adding that brake failure caused the incident.

The injured have been shifted to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS). -

Seat belts must have been useful. It should be enforced by law on all type of vehicles.

Absolutely sick drivers! Some body give me a rear side shot of the bus and I can bet the 'how am I driving' number would be tempered to make it unreadable. I once drove on Kashmir Highway and found 4 of these green buses which were driven recklessly. I tried to go close to read the number and all the numbers were deliberately tempered. Some had a digit or two scratched off and the other had stickers placed on some of the digits

The vehicle pool management must be held responsible! but then again what am I demanding.

Yep, I have seen it,drivers temper with these numbers & personally i went twice to iiui transport office & complained to replace these plates with new ones or fix tempered numbers..don't know what changes have been made since then !!

lol, you are really gullible if you believe that...

This is how university buses and in fact a majority of buses in general are driven...It's scary because even a car occupant could get killed because of their recklessness very easily.
