Pakistan had been on the FATF blacklist for years before it was removed in 2015. We knew how to survive, but if we get blacklisted then it helps us a lot and there's no monitoring scale on us to retaliate easily on India each non-sense and merge their economy with us.

Pakistan was in isolation for 30 years after the Soviet Union collapsed. in our absense China and India build good relationships with the EU and strong lobbies. Since last year we are coming out from isolation mode and playing a key role in peacekeepers in the region. for example, US gave a task to Japan and France to make a deal with Iran and India to give good performance in Afghanistan. but they all failed. and look at Pakistan within a short period of time, we fulfilled most of a US requirement(IRAN -US, Iran -Saudi and Taliban on US table). The US is really missing our all adventures since 30 years. but Pakistan already choose the camp, Greylist or blacklist or Kashmir issue is just pressure build upon Pakistan but it too late.
