Big drop in Afghan patients seeking treatment in Pakistan

.
No it does't effect our economy because they paid their bills from drug money which sold in Pakistan.

Good job Afghanistan now kindly ask your citizens to leave Pakistan for peaceful prosperous Afghanistan an emerging regional economy with lot of stability.

.
Good news. Pakistan should permit lesser visas. Time to get a firm grip on securing the border. The drop in Afghan patients visiting our hospitals should be like a tiny drop in a bucket.

Even India posses much superior treatment facilities and expertise they should visit India instead of Pakistan we don't need their drug money to run our economy.

Other doctors said the drop in the number of Afghan patients visiting the private hospitals in Peshawar and elsewhere had also affected the sales at pharmacies and medical stores, the occupancy at guesthouses and the revenues of transport services.

Maybe some Gov-Gov deal can be done to open some good hospitals in Afghanistan itself. Or, some NGO can be encouraged to do the same.

the occupancy at guesthouses

Don't know about the other point you made. but seriously ! Now-a-days No one is renting houses and guesthouses to "Afghani People" .

Police patrolled and announced in Masajid's TO NOT rent houses to Afghan. So don't worry. it will not hurt Pakistan. Infact, it will help the COMMON PAKISTANI in form of Low rent, Low transportation costs, Low prices of meat, chicken, wheat, and other food items. So Yes ! i am with it. BRING IT ON !!!!!!!!!!!!!

@Dalit , @DESERT FIGHTER , Sir ! Please enlighten him.

I work in a major Govt hospital in Peshawar...You should come and visit to see the actual number of patients from Afghanistan that are being treated as outpatient and in patient on daily basis...Regarding the private hospitals, yes,a good deal of their patients are from Afghanistan but to say that it runs solely on afghans then you are mistaken...Though i myself along with other doctors discourage people from going to that private hospitals considering their very high expenses and lack of the provision of satisfactory health care...

Don't try to say anything into un-thankful deaf ears they don't listen you. We know the reality how Afghan refugee destroy our economy, culture and our youth with drugs and all the other nonsense that they bring with themselves.

yes and the primary sufferers are common Afghans -- Pakistan will suffer too but it's not a symmetric equation.

Much like it is elsewhere the elites will be totally insulated.

I am sure iran can provide better medical facilities as optional to pakistan.
And for anything serious medical condition there is always india, whose services are used by whole world,so afghan bretheren is always welcomed in india.
In todays globalised world no country is dependent on another singular countries, there are plenty of options.

Good riddance as the NDS & Raw backed terrorists in the disguise of relatives of some of these " Patients" would not be able to enter Pakistan. I know it will be troublesome for majority of genuine Patients but given stupid policies of Kabul playing in the lap of Pak enemies it was bound to happen .
I am wondering what is going to happen when soon Pak will kick out 4-5 million Afghan refugees .

Sooner the Afghanistan learn her lesson and start acting like a soverign nation better for her otherwise Pak have nothing to loose we have seen and dealt with the worst of NDS now its high time Afghanis reap what they have sown.

Let them spend many times more to get treated else where.

Most afghan citizen dont pay they just go to Public hospitals for free treatment. So no it is not affecting our economy. Seriously what kind of idiot would think collapse in hospital revenues will cause financial collapse of a nation.
