The Border Guard Bangladesh has stopped a construction by India's Border Security Force at the Lalmonirhat borders.

The proposed establishment is inside the Bangladesh territory, BGB officials say.

A talk between border forces of both countries will take place on Monday to find a way out of the impasse.

BGB 15 Battalion's chief Lt Col Bojlur Rahman Hayati said that the BSF has suspended work on the establishment in the face of BGB opposition.

A brick wall measuring about 200 metres in length has been constructed by the BSF, allegedly violating the No Man's Land on the Bangladesh side.

Locals have said that the BSF have been busy constructing a new camp for a few days.

They say that the camp falls on the Bangladesh side.

This has left Bangladesh citizens living near the border angry.

Lt Col Hayati accused the BSF of going ahead with such constructions for a while.

He said that the border forces from the countries will meet on Monday and discuss the issue.

Yes a brotherly state. India respected our request. So we hope further construction will not take place, respecting this brotherly relation. ;)

That will be discussed in the flag meet.

If there is no other option, India will put its foot down and little brother will make way after this token resistance.

Was talking about this thing some days ago in another thread...

India hasn't really learned anything from their mistakes... Such unilateral actions will just boost up the anti-India sentiments across the region...

Yeah but not in a battle... in a mutiny like 2008

ঝড়ে বক মরে, ফকিরের কেরামতি বাড়ে

or Hari bachan pran, Boidder bare maan.

2009 BDR mutiny was related to Payment, sharing profits between forces. India had no influence in it. It doesn't have the capacity to do anything in army. Yes RAW has influence among corrupt politicians. But Army is a different game altogether
