Well when it comes to 'beauty', my vote goes to F-22 > F-16 > Grippen > Su 33 > Su 27 > MiG 29 > F-18 > F-4 Phantom > MiG 23.

When it comes to the deadly "Modern" look, the fighting falcon wins without a doubt.

F-22 is a bit too "Fake" for my taste. Revolutionary design, but I couldn't care less.

From history, P51 Mustang, British Spitfire, The Nazi's Focke-Wulf FW-190, Messerschmitt Bf 109, The Junkers JU 87 "Stuka Dive bomber" and the Japanese "Zero" are my personal favourites.

How about the US X-29:



This "severe attack angle" prototype was "reportedly" difficult to fly. It required 3 digital and 3 analog computers making up to 40 corrections per second. But it looks neat.....
