Whilst its true, Chinese government did a lot for the Chinese people, bringing over 1 billion people out of poverty in such a short amount of time, such a feat no modern country has or will probably ever achieve, I my self and the billions around the world are truly astonished with your social and economical achievements. You guys are on your way becoming the next superpower, but that does not excuse it from the way they are treating the minorities such as Uyghurs, it's like they are following imperial Japanese/ British rulebook. You people are better than this, and I hope your leadership stops this injustice.

What kind of injustice you heard? Care to share? Do those so called human right group really care about those minority? They are more concern about the accuse being destroyed by those rumours. If killing a million minority can hamper China progress. Those so called human right group would not hesitate to say yes.

The United States has done evil things and there are many valid complaints to be made against the US. Furthermore, the US promotes degeneracy across the world.

China, to my knowledge, does not export degeneracy on the scale that the United States does. Also, as far as I know, China is not known to invade countries on the other side of the planet for vague and mysterious reasons.

I can understand why there is much animosity against the US.

However, we have these hadith from Prophet Muhammad PBUH:

I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying, "Afflictions will emerge from here," pointing towards the East.

In one of the hadith where Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) talks about the East, he specifically mentions Khorasan. So is China included in what he had in mind when he was talking about the East? I'm not sure.

However, I mention these hadith to illustrate the fact that the West does not have a monopoly on evil.

If what is being said about China's treatment of the Uyghurs is true... I believe that we have a responsibility to be in solidarity with our brothers.

If there is any evidence that the claims are false and what the Uyghurs are reportedly suffering is a hoax... then I would be happy, insha'Allah, if someone could come here and settle the matter by presenting the evidence that the whole affair is a hoax or an exaggeration. On the other hand, if what is being reported is true then we have a duty to be in solidarity with our Muslim brothers and we should not try to minimize what is happening.

"And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided."

I mean if there is a counter-narrative which isn't "Islam is a terrorist religion" then I'd be happy to hear it, insha'Allah..... if the issue is them being some sort of separatists (maybe wanting a partition of some sort...) then that maybe is different..... but what I heard was that they are being forced to eat pork...... now if some group is advocating for separatism that's different and I think it's kind of understandable for a government to have an issue with separatists (although I don't think separatists are necessarily wrong)..... but if the Uyghurs are being separatists and that is the issue.... why force them to eat pork???????? and given what is happening to them, if they are indeed separatists, I think that's pretty justified on their part.... if my memory is correct, I think there was a whole nation somewhere... I think on a subcontinent.... which was formed for pretty similar reasons......
