Rampant sexual crime cases have left the nation in a shock, however, this latest crime against an animal has left us all embarrassed to even call ourselves ‘Pakistani’. A goat was brutally raped and murdered by 5 men in the city of Okara.
According to the owner of the goat, the goat was worth Rs 60,000. On July 24, five men kidnapped the animal tied in front of his house and took it to a deserted area a few kilometers away.

The goat was taken to a veterinary hospital in the neighborhood and a post-mortem report confirmed the heinous crime. The culprits managed to flee from the crime scene and are on the run. However, a case under sections 377 [unnatural offences] and 429 [mischief by killing or maiming cattle, etc., of any value or any animal of the value of fifty rupees] of the Pakistan Penal Code has been registered. The police is conducting raids to arrest them.



Pakistanis were already mourning the loss of Noor Mukadam, Saima, Quratulain, and other victims of abuse, but this incident from Okara has left us shaken to the core. Where are we going? What have we become? The men and the laws of this country have failed us numerous times. A woman, a child, and a goat, what’s next?

In a shocking incident, a kitten was reportedly raped by a 15-year-old teenager and 6 of his friends for over a week in Lahore, Pakistan. The information about the gruesome incident was shared on Sunday by a Pakistan-based NGO named JFK Animal Rescue and Shelter.
Reportedly, following animal abuse, the cat could not eat, sit, or sleep due to trauma. The veterinary doctors had recovered sperm samples and plastic bags from the animal’s body. According to them, the rape was so brutal that there was virtually no separation between the anal and the vaginal region. The post read that the abuse had damaged the kitten’s internal parts so severely that sperm and blood kept on leaking. Multiple plastic bags, allegedly used by the boys to rape the animal, were found in her body by the veterinarian.

Accused is the son of the family who had bought the kitten​

The post by the animal shelter read that the kitten was bought by a family in Lahore and the boy who, with other friends, had committed the crime is the 15-year-old son of the family. A local girl who was suspicious about the abuse had kept an eye on the kitten and the boys. The girl had also reportedly offered the family to take the kitten but she was refused.
The animal shelter page had also added that it was the fifth case of animal sexual abuse they have faced.

Multiple organ failure​

As per the report, the kitten was abused to such an extent that she died due to multiple organ failure. The carcass was then left in a nearby dumpster. While the veterinary doctor conceded that the feline was raped, he refused to give it in writing to avoid involvement in the case. However, the mother of one of the accused has dismissed all allegations of rape. She said, “My son did not do this. Someone from the street must have done it.” A girl, under the assurance of anonymity, reported about the incident to the NGO. The animal rights organisation has condemned the heinous crime and demanded that all culprits be brought to justice.

Need for sex education​

“Some rapists will get another dog or cat or a monkey. Because it is so much easier raping the voiceless and weak as they wont even be able to tell what you devils did to them right? You know this voiceless don’t have laws and are not taken seriously here, so you chose them to rape,” the post emphasized. The NGO demanded serious therapies and sex education programs urgently to fix the issue of animal abuse, despite the opposition of orthodox mullahs.
“The kitten is buried and surely speaking to God up there about what ever happened to her in this cruel world. This is Pakistan, and these are Pakistani men. Men are choosing animals for rape now after women and minors,” the Facebook post emphasised about the grim situation.
The NGO also emphasised that there is an urgent need for animal rights laws, a action force and helpline to deal with such situations. it also lamented that in a country like Pakistan where women and children do not get justice after heinous rape cases, who will care for an animal.

Bestiality: Five booked for gang raping, killing goat​

OKARA:
Police booked five men for allegedly sexually assaulting and killing a goat in the city on Tuesday.

The bestiality incident took place within the limits of Satghara police station.

According to the police report, five men untied a labourer’s goat and took it to a nearby compound. The suspects raped the animal, tortured and killed it.

Reportedly, locals saw the suspects fleeing after committing the heinous crime.

The owner of the goat lodged a complaint with the police.

Police registered a case against the five suspects.

Azhar Hussain, a resident of Satghara police station, had his goat tied in front of his house which was untied by Naeem and his four accomplices. The suspects took the goat to a nearby compound where they tortured and raped it.

As a result of the incident, the goat died after which the suspects fled from the crime scene.

A police team shifted the goat to a livestock hospital. The medical report confirmed the goat was raped before it was killed. Police launched a hunt to arrest the alleged rapists.

DPO Faisal Shehzad took notice of the incident and ordered Satghara SHO Javed Khan to arrest the culprits immediately.

The SHO Javed Khan said the suspects accused will be arrested soon.

Residents of the area demanded from the police to severely punish the perpetrators for the heinous crime.

Family protests gang rape of their beloved donkey​

SAHIWAL - In a bizarre incident, a 70-year-old man with his entire family have accused six men of sexually abusing their donkey before taking it away at gunpoint in Sahiwal district of Punjab.


Zahoor Ahmed, a resident of village 57/GD in Bahadur Abad police limits, staged a demonstration Wednesday in front of District Police Office Sahiwal. The family alleged that the police were not lodging a complaint against Abrar, Ashraf, Sadabahar, Zawar, Maqbool and Akhlaq who sexually assaulted their animal.

"Zawar Ahmed wanted to buy my donkey. But when I refused to sell him the animal, he (Zawar) along with his other men carried out this heinous crime.

“Later, they took away my donkey at gunpoint," the old man told the media outside DPO Office.

Bestiality is a sexual offence in which an animal is used as a medium to satisfy the sexual desire of a human being.

The disgruntled man has demanded DPO Atif Ikram to register a FIR against the criminals as Shahid Nazir, the local station house officer, refused to entertain his application.

Sahiwal police spokesman Mehar Nazir Ahmad told Daily Pakistan that they have called the aggrieved party tomorrow (Thursday). The further decision will be made after an inquiry into the incident which, the spokesman say, appears to be a personal dispute.

A member of the notorious Rochdale grooming gang who got a 13-year-old girl pregnant has protested his deportation back to Pakistan by claiming he is barely surviving on benefits and has been treated 'like a political football'.
Adil Khan, 51 had previously been told he will be sent back to Pakistan for the public good, after he was part of a gang convicted of a catalogue of serious sex offences in May 2012.
For two years from early 2008, girls as young as 12 were plied with alcohol and drugs and gang-raped in rooms above takeaway shops and ferried to different flats in taxis where cash was paid to use the girls.
Khan and Qari Abdul Rauf - who can still move freely around Rochdale - were among nine Asian men convicted for sex offences against vulnerable girls in 2012. Police fear as many as 47 victim may have been groomed by the gang.
Since release from jail they have fought a long legal battle against deportation, mounting multiple legal challenges and appeals, spanning seven years before 11 different judges, on the grounds that deportation would interfere with their human rights.
Khan - who claims he survives on benefits after the Home Office removed his driving licence - had said he had renounced his Pakistani citizenship, meaning his exile from Britain which would make him 'stateless' and should prevent his deportation.
Failure to deport any of the gang has led to widespread anger in Rochdale, where victims realised they had been living alongside their recently-released tormentors.
A string of Home Secretaries have also come under fire after being accused of failing to act after members of the group were ordered to be deported in 2015.
But now both Khan and Rauf will finally hear if they can remain in the UK after a date for their deportation case was set for later this year.

He was jailed for six years and released in November 2014 after serving two years and six months of his sentence, before returning to Rochdale to his wife and five children.
The main victim of the sex-ring gang, known as Girl A, previously slammed the Government for its failure to kick the convicted criminals out of the country and demanded an explanation from the Home Secretary.
The 29-year-old, previously told the Sun: 'We were told they would be kicked out of the country. Knowing that had been done would have been a huge help for all of us in trying to rebuild our lives.
'But instead we're still haunted by the paedophiles who raped and trafficked us. Every day we run the risk of bumping into them.'

Khan and Rauf were among four of the gang with dual UK-Pakistani citizenship, so liable to be stripped of UK citizenship and deported, after then-Home Secretary Theresa May ruled it would be 'conducive to the public good' to deprive the four of the right to remain in the UK.
The pair, along with another man, Abdul Aziz, then fought, and lost, a long legal battle against the deprivation order, losing a final Court of Appeal ruling in 2018.
Both men listened via a Mirpuri translator to the First Tier Immigration Tribunal hearing, held on a videolink, on Wednesday where a final date was set to hear their appeal against deportation.
Home Office lawyers told the hearing at Taylor House, London, the case had taken a 'very long time' and it is in the public interest to deport both men, 'as soon as possible'.
Khan said he is unable to write and does not understand English, and was given extra time to gather evidence and statements to support his case.

Asked about his attendance at his appeal hearing, he said: 'I don't have enough money to eat.
'For the last three years I have been surviving on children's benefits, there's no way I can afford it, to get to London.
'I would just like to be protected from the football that we have been made of, by the politicians.'
Judge Charlotte Welsh granted an application for anonymity for the lawyers representing Rauf, who is legally aided, that they should not be named in any report of the hearing.
An appeal hearing has been set for June 22.
