Nah mate as much as I wanted to, I missed the ceremony but the interviews were available on the official group,@Max Pain
You were at the launching ceremony, din't you have any Q&A's session and did you suggest anything etc...
makes no sense in launching RKS150 especially when you have a better alternate in Suzuki150. We need more competition in Pakistan and introduction of some cruiser bikes like Royal Enfield, Honda Shadow/Phantom, Yamaha Bolt/Stryker, Suzuki Intruder.
Benelli representative, Mr Dante did say that they dp have plans for local production in future so that might bring the cost down in future,
As for the Suzuki 150 argument, im a pround owner of one but that doesnt mean there should be more bikes of same engine category, remember competition always is healthy for the customers as that will force companies to improve their products to attain a good market share. Right now there was only Road Prince wego 150 thats costs over 180k while i bought the suzuki 150 for 128k. This still makes suzuki 150 the preferable bike of its kind. And tbh it still needs a lot of improvement but suzuki wont do anything since there's none to compete with it.
Id expect benelli and Yamaha to bring a cruiser within 2 years. Both of the companies seem determined. At least thats what i got from their marketing strategies.
Theyre trying to fit in.
Right now they are importing cbu's so all taxes apply hence the price hikeAre they being imported or manufactured in Pakistan? If they are manufactured, prices should be low but if they are imported, the duty on import of brand new vehicle is very high.
