Being at Lejas all the time (PAF F16)

81-0933 / 82603 (cn 5H-3) Emergency Landing!!! Ex USAF 81-0933, this aircraft stayed at Lajes for almost 4 months with another Pakistan Air Force F16 due some engine problems when they first arrived at Lajes. After 1 month at Lajes, the 2 F16's were making a test flight when this one on the photo had again problems (this time with hot brakes) and had to declare an emergency. Those 2 F16's have been recently coded 'L J' - LaJes on the tail as a ground crew joke for being at Lajes all this time!!!

The above is really old news. All 4 of the PAF F-16s are in the US now.

All 4 F16's are being upgraded right now. The delivery is after 2010.

I second that.We should have avoided F16..In fact try to sell our F16's to other nation and get some other jets.America can easily blackmail us.We could have purchased Mirage-2000 instead of these jets..
