China don’t need world markets for its domestic companies to survive and grow, it just needs to dominate the Chinese market and its companies will be among the largest in the world in any list. Not even 50 small markets combined can compare to 1 large China market. Once established in the Chinese market they expand globally to developing and developed markets and take market share from Western firms globally.

Once China get a domestic rival to a foreign firm, the foreign firm is no longer needed. That’s why it was technology transfer-for-market access deal.

China has its unreliable entity list ready and will kick out foreign firms that are no longer needed technologically.

China will go sector by sector, industry by industry until the Western companies have no technology remaining that China needs.
