If he is the champion of table tennis and diving, China must have trained him.
But he is a figure skating champion, which obviously has nothing to do with China. The gold medal comes from his personal efforts. So we don't think he's a traitor.

Yes, that makes sense. I also did some searching myself with both English and Chinese. I didn't find evidences to back up that claim.

Yes they are doing extremely poor this year considering 4 years ago they were #3 with 11. (Norway and Germany both had 14)

(sorry Charles Dickens 3mm in London isn't really snowing). They typically get only 1 gold each winter Olympics.
