Ok you are right let’s get back to the discussion I should have not said in generalized terms to every chinese.we are on a genuine conversation with military aspect and then you are again driven away with your hatred and started taking things personal and putting words in my mouth.
brain cancer? you have crossed every line, post reported.
Hello, are you alright? As I said earlier, we are nobody, we are just common guys living our life, your hatred is swallowing you.
What can Vietnam military improve in respect to structure? As far as things are published, Vietnam shares many similarities with China.
pls note what I say in following can be wrong.
In daily exercise the army is led by a general that has a seat in the government. As defense minister. He himself is a member of general staffs. The executive arm of the army.
The central military commission overseas and lays foundations and basics for the army. The commission is the political arm of the army.
The president as civilian defined by the constitution is the supreme commander of the armed forces. That reflects the tradition the army is controlled by a non military man or women.
Now come differences. Vietnam has a large standing army that itself defines as territorial defence force. The army is supported by large battalions of militia. But the sheer number means little. Vietnam has the concept of people’s army. That means the army is in peacetime almost idle. Invisible to public. I don’t know for sure. I guess soldiers can do daily business like civilians. What I know is In war time the entire population will be called in.
The army is divided in three sectors: northern, central and southern flank. At sea, the navy has the main theaters in Paracels and Spratlys.
During the past wars until with China in the last century Vietnam army has the concept of flexibel response. There are teams of three men with special roles. I don’t know how it is evolved now.
