ANKARA, Apr 13: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said here Friday that her government is strongly considering the issue of recognition of Kosovo's independence. "We're observing the situation. You may hear a good news," she said, replying to a question from a student of Ankara University, where the Prime Minister delivered a speech on 'People's Empowerment'. Asked about her observations about political genocide, the Prime Minister said the people of Bangladesh had faced political genocide by the occupation forces in 1971. — UNB

Happy? You'd piss off both the countries by doing that.

You know, right now Bangladesh has a respected foreign policy of neutrality and national interests. Stick to that and all big players will not get angry.

I understand but AL isn't usually known to have those types in them. I won't say they're ideal government, but their foreign policy is balanced and respected towards all.

I don't think that pissing off the Bear especially with Putin coming into the show, would be a good idea. If I were Bangaldeshi PM, I'd certainly think 10 times despite internal pressure.

Bangladesh should stick to Russia's version. They can offer us more than other party can, besides they have been all along with us in the long run.

If BD ever possessed ICBMs and Kosovo happened to be nearby, I'd even consider nuking Kosovo to make Russia happy.

Kosovo can't offer us any material benefit for recognizing them. Hope Russia regains its control over Eastern Europe and obliterate these little nuisances brought to existence by the West.

^can't believe above post is by someone who accused others of slave mentality! Kosovo is a Yogoslavic nation, Russia has nothing to do with it! It was never a part of soviet union! USA requested us repeatedly to recognize Kosovo, while Russia told us to wait! Now according to logic or Aazidane mentality, USA is more important because of the RMG trade volume!
