Farhaan, let me assure you one thing: a coup can never happen without US approval.

After the Americans give the nod, only then will they be able to overthrow a government. Yes, even an elected one.

I really wouldn't worry too much about India, the AL are bound to fail in their political goals anyways.

Whatever the Indians try to do, controlling the military would be a very difficult thing to achieve. In fact, it's almost impossible.

ok. This article says about a Bangladeshi Major who was kidnapped and questioned by Raw officers inside dhaka military base. According to him many bangladeshi Generals are working with raw..and anyone who opposes it inside army facing problems. The major somehow escaped and sent email to one of his friends to circulate. He asked Journalists to take information from his house, workplace which is Military institute of Science and Tech to justify about authenticity of the major while he is hiding
it seems situation is very serious in Bangladesh. Clearly pro india and anti india fraction is visible inside army. seems like 1975 came back. We needs another Sipahi Janata revolt...

Yeah that's likely. We can't even say if the Chinese even actually offered us the JF-17.
