This $500 billion news says something like a tree can bear fruits without first planting it. I do not see any great news of investment in industries, but all the news says we are and will be reaping fruits.

No seedling, no fruits!! Even a futuristic $1 billion FDI has become great news. See another thread for that. It means there is little investment going on. But BAL forces newspapers to write colorful news.

Bangladesh will overtake Denmark, HK and Singapore on purely nominal terms by 2024.

Not that it matters but according to their report/ forecast, Bangladesh has overtaken India on per capita basis permanently.
