অভিযুক্ত হরিচাঁদ মণ্ডলকে থানায় নিয়ে যাওয়া হচ্ছে।
বাংলাদেশে স্ত্রী থাকতেও এ পারে এসে ফের বিয়ে করেছিলেন। কিন্তু নাছোড় বাংলাদেশি তরুণী স্বামীকে খুঁজে বের করেই ফেললেন। শুধু সন্ধান পাওয়াই নয়, স্বামীর গাইঘাটার বাড়িতে এসে ঝুলিয়ে দিলেন তালা। বুধবার দিনভর এই নিয়েই দফায় দফায় উত্তেজনা ছড়াল এলাকায়। পুলিশ ওই যুবককে নিয়ে যাওয়ার সময়ে ধস্তাধস্তিতেও জড়ালেন মহিলা।
অভিযোগকারিণী বাংলাদেশের নাগরিক তাহমিনা খাতুন(২৭)। তাঁর দাবি, স্বামী হরিচাঁদ মণ্ডলের সঙ্গে তাঁর যোগাযোগ বহুদিনের। দু’জনেই বাংলাদেশের সাতক্ষীরা জেলার বাসিন্দা। ২০১৮ সালে তাঁদের বিয়ে হয়। কিন্তু বিয়ের কিছুদিন পরেই হরিচাঁদ এপার বাংলায় চলে আসেন। অভিযোগ, গাইঘাটার মোড়লডাঙা গ্রামে এসে এখানকার ভুয়ো পরিচয়পত্রও তৈরি করে ফেলেন। কিন্তু এ পারে আসার পরেই দু’জনের মধ্যে শুরু হয় টানাপড়েন।
তাহমিনার অভিযোগ, এক সময় হরিচাঁদ তাহমিনাকে বলে পাঁচ দিনের মধ্যে বাংলাদেশ থেকে ভারতে চলে আসতে। বুধবার, তাহমিনা বলেন, আমি বাংলাদেশে একটি স্কুলে চাকরি করি। পাকাপাকি ভাবে এখানে চলে আসা সম্ভব নয়। তাই আসতে পারিনি।’’ তাঁর অভিযোগ, এই সুযোগ নিয়েই হরিচাঁদ এ পারে ফের বিয়ে করেন।
বুধবার সেই ক্ষোভেই হরিচাঁদের মোড়লডাঙার বাড়িতে হানা দেন তাহমিনা। হরিচাঁদ যাতে পালাতে না পারেন, তা নিশ্চিত করতে বাড়ির দরজায় তালাও দিয়ে দেন তিনি। পুলিশ হরিচাঁদকে উদ্ধার করতে এলে ওই যুবতীর সঙ্গে ধস্তাধস্তি বেধে যায়। হরিচাঁদকে উদ্ধার করে থানায় নিয়ে যাওয়া হয়।

সন্দেহ দেখা দিয়েছে হরিচাঁদের নাগরিকত্ব নিয়েও। তাহমিনা অভিযোগ জানিয়েছেন, হরিচাঁদ দুই দেশের পরিচয়পত্রই ব্যবহার করে। পুলিশ জানিয়েছে, অভিযোগের সত্যতা খতিয়ে দেখে উপযুক্ত ব্যবস্থা নেওয়া হবে।

But soon after this came between the two began to tense.
Tahmina alleged that her husband Harichand once told Tahmina to move from Bangladesh to India within five days. On Wednesday, Tahmina said, "I work in a school in Bangladesh. It is not possible to move here permanently. So, she could not come.
On Wednesday, Tahmina raided the house of Mordanga in Harichand. She locked the door of the house to ensure that Harichand could not escape. When the police came to rescue Harichand, the young woman clashed. Harichand was rescued and taken to the police station.
Suspicion has also arisen about the citizenship of Harichand. Tahmina alleged that Harichand uses the identity cards of the two countries. Police said that appropriate action will be taken to ascertain the truth of the complaint.
