India ensured that visa processing for several European countries had to happen in India for the region - then they complain when people visit to get those visas. Ungrateful scum.

People spending honest money arriving, staying and buying in India - and this is the thanks they get. Tell your govt to stop processing non-Indian visa applications and you won't have these people here.

The weak BD diplomacy is responsible for our people to visit Embassies in other countries to seek visa. Our good people go to India and those dumb hungry Indian JOURNALISTS (?) propagate they are in India to seek rations from the GoI.

BD must require other countries to set Visa section in Dhaka.

Many of these people came to Delhi to face the Embassies of other countries. I don't know why many countries do not issue Visas from Dhaka. This video needs to go viral in Bangladesh. At least those are going to India for purely tourism and shopping purpose need to stop entirely and Govt. need to step up it's diplomatic effort so that Bangladeshi citizen don't need to travel to Delhi to secure visas of other countries.

Because many countries have diplomatic staff too small to handle visa enquiries, i assume. As BD economy grows manyfold that will be less a problem.

I believe Bangladesh should do trade with India but on BD own premises. Otherwise there is 100 times better to orient BD trade and cultural exchange with East Asia, South Asia, friendly Middleast nations and The West.

India should always be kept at arms length. Sad to say the country that on paper should be a powerhouse and model in South Asia, quite contrary is a road block in many different ways.

Look at China, it trades with Japan, S Korea, Vietnam and Philipines. It hasnt done any mingling in internal politics of its neighbors. It makes its neighbors thrive and develop. It acts as a model for development. But India? Well…

I'm not fully up on it, but a lot of regional visa offices have been closed in the last few years and the operations moved to a single Indian base - so Bangladeshis have to apply via India.

Most of the EU countries do not issue Visa in Dhaka. This need to change. Bangladesh is not a small country and annual Visa application from Bangladesh to EU countries is not small that our citizen have to travel to Delhi to secure Visas. I think, it is mostly about Bangladesh Foreign ministry's incompetence and lack of interest.

This hateful and misleading video is going viral in India. Over 152k shares and 33k comments! What Bangladesh high commission is doing? Why they don't protest such viral videos and sent clarification? This facebook page is extremely anti-Muslim and anti-Bangladeshi and they command a huge followers. But our high commission is totally asleep. If it were to happen with any other country, they would have rattled the Indian foreign ministry.

The sad thing is Dada, if some Bangali guy posted hatemongering videos like this in Dhaka, talking about Indian immigrants (either legal or illegal), they would for sure be hauled off to jail, on charges of 'disrupting religious harmony'. Indian High Commission would be all over this like a cheap suit.

There are plenty of Indian "ghuspetias" in Bangladesh too.

People have to go do what they have to do, to work for a living.

This is true. A lot of EU govts. have done this to save on costs. Greece and some East EU countries are on the list.
