I am not sure we will let that happen. But to be honest i sympathesise with the Indo-Bangla border people. I have been to the enclaves and have seen how they live, and what is to be a part of both countries yet ignored all the same.
But there is an extent till which we can share the burden, and most of the illegals are not enclave dwellers, they are from interior Bangladesh.

Well, that is geopolitics, they are collateral damage in a great game. No offense, but Bangladeshis are a more destabilizing force to India than Pakistan. At least Pakistanis are not migrating en mass to Gujarat and changing the demographics.

Police said many of the agitators were armed with iron rods, and were pelting stones indiscriminately.

Why is this projected as a Muslim vs Hindu issue....No where is the word Muslim or Hindu mentioned in the article......The minute the heat is turned up, it becomes a Muslim vs Hindu fight, come on people, She stole money and thats that. The other issue is I hope this Modi sarkar takes this opportunity and signs into law to also punish employers who employ non Indians without proper paperwork..ie...any and all non citizens should get Police No objection certificate to produce to employer before employed for any job...and for citizens they should have adhar/Pan card/Indian Passport..etc...just my 2 cents.

Populous countries suffer from Mob rules.
