Dhaka, Apr 19 (UNB) – A Bangladeshi worker among 65 people who were injured in a suicide bombing inside a café in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad that also left 32 people dead on Thursday night.

The Bangladeshi victim was identified as Swapan, son of Siddique Khan of Shahzira village in Gournadi upazila of Barisal, said Shameem Ahsan, director general of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

He said Swapan got his leg broken in the bomb blast. “He has been hospitalised and the Bangladesh mission is taking care of him.”

Thirty-two people were killed and 65 others injured when a suicide bomber set off his explosive belt inside the cafe on Thursday night, reports AP.

The café was packed with young people enjoying water pipes and playing pool.

If Mullahs in BD can ask the govt to declare non-violent Ahmadiya as non-Muslims, why do not they also criticize the super violent Talibans? congratulations on that but don't treat a war torn country like Iraq like sh!t. despite all the war, Iraq still has better living standard than many of you. Bangladesh is still low in HDI. so before criticizing other countries better take care of your home first.

1. Iraq is obviously war torn country, security issue is the main concern now, suiciding bombing here and there in Iraq makes how good living better than Bangladesh i wonder. I did not criticize Iraq, Iraq is not safe now, may be later will be good when no suicide attack will be there. I did not criticize their economy.
2. Bangladesh's living is much better than India, now and then bomb blast in your country with terrorist attack, take care of your own country then talk about Bangladesh. very often rape news coming from India, women are not feeling safe, looking for female taxi driver in Dehli, now tell me your higher per capita income than bangladesh brought better life in India ?
