Bangladesh wants to become the world's first "solar nation" by 2021

.
Coal is also very hazardous to the environment, thus you will need to invest in ways to stop fly ash wondering freely into the atmosphere, our governments never cared for the environment. Thus we hate coal powered plants.

I gave you a link of how solar power work. Thanks to clouds a lot of UV rays are reflected away from the atmosphere and solar power need UV rays, thus it is best for dry areas not a tropical country like Bangladesh.

coal isn't healthy, but you gotta do what you gotta do for energy and growth.
you got China and India as neighbors and they consume a lot of coal.......so you might as well get on the action as well :D

you are worthless ...
Crystal light: New light-converting materials point to cheaper, more efficient solar power | EurekAlert! Science News
also giving you key line as i know you will not read it
"Perovskites are great visible-light harvesters, and quantum dots are great for infrared,"

now don't tell me that UV Ray is visible light

@C130 this new tech has 46% efficiency, previous one has 25%
You are pointing out to a technology that has yet to pass its testing phase let alone being put into mass scale production. You do see where the problem lies.

. .
:hitwall::hitwall::hitwall: the problem lies in u ................ :hitwall::hitwall::hitwall:
Explain, I just explained to you that you are bringing up a technology that hasn't been even finished its testing process, also how solar power work. All you did was smash your brick-head on a brick wall.

explation: you have negative mindset. that explains everything.

.
bangladesh...use ur population and become an industrial nation.....solar power cannot sustain heavy industrial growth.....ye bs kehene ki baat hai...solar helps nobody........

Not negative but rather logical. I would have backed the decision of solar-power if Bangladesh's weather was similar to that of Saudi Arabia and other desert lands.

You people need to stop jumping every time the Government "plans something". Due to people like you, we have been in an autocracy of 2 parties for the last 25 years and neither of them have done anything significant.

LOL i don't even need to go to political issues. if you were not with negative mindset, you would first ask me what is the new tech all about instead of dragging :disagree:

I mentioned to you that solar power can't achieve much in BD, and also I am quite sure you mentioned what the "new tech" was in your title

bold part: see again negative, even i new tech you will say still same thing no matter what lol
in my title? really ?

.
enough stupidity, just give you clue: can you see things outside during cluding day ? what light is that ?
Jamaatis always have an IQ lower than room temperature.

Let him know that all that happens in cloudy days is that the efficiency of conversion drops, it does not stop.
And with the new generation of solar cells coming, the efficiency is only set to rise further.

On topic: Brilliant initiative by Bangladesh!
