Bangladesh wants China, India to de-escalate situation

Gandu wanted the everyone to pay tax except the MPs
I didn’t see him requesting amendments to ershad era laws that levied tax off MPs for things like buying luxury items and cars

Don't defame my Mal :azn: like that, even Kakku would vouch for him, if he was here today among us.

All statements by Foreign Minister on foreign affairs automatically become official statements unless Government issues a statement rejecting that.
That’s my point. Bitch needs to keep his mouth shut on things that doesn’t matter to us and open when things that matter

They’ll never much upto to kakku RIP :cry:

Ironic considering that if China cut off chicken's neck from Arunachal Pradesh, it would create a giant new independent Bengal state of which Bangladesh would be the biggest beneficiary.

Isn't it in the interest of Bangladesh to escalate the situation? They could try to pressure India like Nepal to extract some concessions while India is being squeezed from all sides.

Bangladesh will only act when there is any attempt by India to use Bangladeshi territory. They only got a little taste in 2001 (look up "Padua/Roumari 2001").

Bangladesh will only lose if it initiates any aggression.

Let's say China manages to militarily "sever" the Chicken's neck: the local population in those states would not simply roll over and join China/Bangladesh.

What Bangladesh can do however is increase visible cooperation with China and use that to leverage concessions from India on the water sharing and trade fronts.

BD will choose China in the end, I have a strong feeling. They will even shoot up Mujib's leftover family if they have to.

Bangladesh and China have and will always have strong ties.
It has only gotten stronger under Hasina.
You need to study Bangladesh more before making such comments.

They are trying to be neutral as they can see fire coming their way as they have to refuse at least one of them in the end. That would be so difficult.

We would never have to choose sides although everyone knows what side BD is in; Bangladesh will stay "neutral" which will only benefit China.

Only if you could understand the public sentiment in Bangladesh by surfing the Bengali comments in Youtube and Facebook. Ninety five percent are celebrating the 'good lesson' China taught to India, 5% are saying, both are killing Muslims, so I am glad they are killing each other. There is virtually no support for India in Bangladeshi social media. Bangladeshi Hindus are absent in comment section, Indian West Bengalis are cursing and swearing at Bangladeshis! If our current govt. represented the public opinion and aspiration, then long ago it would have ditched India in favor of China like Pakistan or Nepal. But unfortunately, our voting rights is now curtailed.

BD people are more sensible than the current Hasina government, yes, I know this.

For BD, gaining land and pushing back India is a necessity for the future. It will also teach Burma a lesson.

Bangladesh is the main beneficiary in all this. China has removed tariffs on their products. Why should they want this to end ? With India out of question, all the China requirements are going to b met by Bangladesh.
A decision on tariffs is supposed to be made by discussions inside Chinese ministries and between BD and China taking many months. It is not an one minute decision after the Ladakh border conflict. Ladakh battle is irrelevant to Tariff decision.

It will also teach Burma a lesson.
I doubt whether Burma would have initiated the calculated Rohingya killing and expulsion to Bangladesh had it BNP govt. or Military govt. They found Sheikh Hasina's govt. is exceptionally accommodating to neighbors and unwilling to confront the hard realities. So they managed to do this crime without any consequence. In 1992, BNP govt. almost went to war with Burma when they expelled 250k Rohingyas into Bangladesh. It only prevented due to OIC and Saudi diplomatic efforts. Subsequently Burma forced to re-accept them.

BD should learn the hard lesson that it is surrounded by enemies and seek to undo that reality. Your military needs work, China and Pakistan are both ready to help.

A major war is coming as India is about to implode, so we all need to be ready, and able to pick up the pieces when all of this is done.

I watched an Urdu program of Orya Maqbool Jan, whose predictions have come true every time about India. He said at the end of one year, he does not think India will exist in its current form.

Patience is key here. Wait it out and be ready.

Myanmar did not re accept the Rohingya who came to Bangladesh in 1992. Some of them went back.

Last year there was a news report in daily star, where it was written that there is a famous Rohingya mafia in Cox's bazaar and its members are living in Cox's bazaar since 1992.

Twenty one thousands did not return. Rest of them(more then 2 hundred thousands) were repatriated under the supervision of UN organization then. It continued well after 2000 AD.

Really? If bnp came to power then it would have cancelled all military modernisation plans in spite of al-league. So with what military? It would have cancelled some of the economic projects as well.

You seem to be very appeasing towards Burmese posters. By the way, are you yourself not a Burmese? Should I ask this to @Aung Zaya?
