Listen, Bangladesh does not have any intention to become a threat to anyone. But we will ensure that, it attains enough deterrence power to give a good beating to Hanuman sena if ever they try to do any misadventure towards Bangladeshi territory. To achieve that, Bangladesh doesn't have to match bharati forces bullet for bullet. Bharat already got it's hand full with China and Pakistan. Bangladesh only need to take account of Hanuman Sena's Eastern Command and whatever it can manage to bring by diverting troops and weapons from Western and Northern front. But it can not do much as any drastic lessening of strength at Pakistan and China border will make them to liberate Kashmir, Ladakh and Zangnan territory, Khalistan will achieve their freedom.

Seeing overall picture, Bangladesh can achieve that deterrence by increasing it's troops strength by 50% (from more than 2 lakhs now to more than 3 lakhs) and acquiring military hardware at a rate of 3-4 times of current rate. It is very much possible, if we increase our defence budget from 1.0 percent of GDP to 2.0 percent of GDP. Bangladesh's current defence budget as a percentage of GDP is among the lowest in the world. It can easily double it without creating pressure on economy.
