These provinces were united before partition but could not rule at all. Almost all the time in modern hostory these were under Delhi rule and even today BD is indirectly under delhi rule.

I was talking about united bengal never being able to control political power of the sub continent in the modern history. The statement was in response to your comment that united Bengal would have ruled Delhi.

In my second statement by using the term Delhi I meant GoI as it is a common practice to use capital's name while refereeing to the government of a particular country.

India is ruled by Indian bureaucracy, in accordance to the Indian constitution. The Prime Minister is the presiding member and chairman of the cabinet. You need to understand how the political framework of India works before commenting.

I wasnt talking about Delhi CM. Was talking about Lok sabha. 14 out of 8 times Delhi/India Lok Sabha was ruled by UP.

India was mainly Created by Hindu Bengalis and Pakistan by Muslim Bengalis. They would have ruled if both were together.

I wasnt talking about Rajya Sabha. Was talking about Lok sabha. Delhi rajya sabha is ruled by its local CM. But 14 out of 8 times Delhi Lok Sabha was ruled by UP.
