True, here these poor souls have an option of leaving that house and going back to their own house, or look for another house ...... That is not the case when they go abroad......

This is disappointing but what do you expect from such a scum, corrupt, bloodsucking government. This is not the maids faults for choosing this line of work the government gave them a crappy 'opportunity' to earn some cheddar and they cannot refuse as they are poor.

Hasina is a bandi who is allowing her citizens to get treated like the lowest form of human.

I can't believe today Bangladesh is allowing this to happen. Even 7-10 years Bangladesh was a respectable Muslim country with a respectable army but now I feel ashamed to be a Bangladeshi with these extremist politicians who can openly insult women and religion in a public arena. No haya no shorom I am ashamed to be son of Bangladeshi soil.

Indians have come into Bangladesh and have been given naturalization to then vote, change the status from being a conservative country to a mushreek one. We only have to blame ourselves. Our people let it happen, but then what can a goreeb really do?

You wont find too many women willing to go anyways. I have a friend in bua business in middle east and its very hard for him to find a woman from Bangladesh. Government probably took it as the first step towards opening the market.

Bangladesh never imposed any ban on female worker in ME. It was always there and even before Saudi stopped recruiting worker from Bangladesh. Working abroad for female in Bangladesh were never attractive. You won't see any big queue this time either.
