Bangladesh FM urges world community to slap sanctions on Myanmar

Were the Mukti Bahini radicalised by the Mullahs or brainwashed and trained by a professional Army belonging to an enemy state?

Same here. Can the Bangladesh Army train the Rohingya refugees to go and liberate their own homeland?

There is a big distinction to be made here, Mukti Bahini and by extension Bengalis fought for language and culture, these rohingya are persecuted for their religious beliefs, therefore they will be fighting for their religion.

The fact that they will get radicalised is a given, on top of which they're hundred times as religious as the bengalis from the 70s.

So, in your opinion the Rohingya refugees first need to run around naked on the beaches with their own mothers, sisters and daughters like westerners, then Bangladeshi Army will feel comfortable enough to train them to kill the enemy and liberate their homeland?

Is this really the case and the Bangladeshi thinking behind this?

I'm actually shocked that you don't even see the refugees as human being while at same time Bangladeshis daily sing songs of oppression and liberation in relation to their history.

We have given them refuge, we protected them from certain death, for now that is enough.

You on the other hand, sold JF-17s to the 'enemies' of Muslims; the genocidal Burmese regime.

So why lecture us on what we ought to do ?

The international community isn't helping them, what can we do ?

We don't sing those songs all the time, that's a myth.

Something needs to be done for the rohingya ? Yes.

By arming them ? Perhaps, yes.

But it's not so easy, it's need to be done well and done in such a way that the rohingya men fight for their homeland and not for their religion.

Just training and arming people without providing them with some education and changing their mindset is dangerous, it can backfire as we saw in Afghanistan.

There are around 1.5 million Rogingyas in Pakistan starting from the 1940s.

The JF-17 Thunders are not to bomb Rohingyas out of Myanmar but help Bangladesh understand it needs to change its attitude towards Pakistan. Seems to have worked.

Hahahahahaha sure, if you say so.

The world has given up on the rohingya, humanity has failed them not us.

You wouldn't believe the amount crimes and murders they're committing, the locals are being very very patient with them.

The Burmese starved them for generations, denied them any education, these people need to be allowed to return to their homelands and allowed to educate their children.

Maybe Islamabad can try and talk to their Burmese friends ?

:stop::undecided:

You sure the JF-17 sales weren't plain business deals ?

Blatant disregard for the well-being of the Rohingya.

Call it what you like.

Anywsy, the thread is about Rohingyas and why Bangladeshi attitude towards them is so heartless and inhumane.

What are you on about ?

We took these people in like our own, don't lecture us, go sell some more weapons to the enemies of the Rohingya, while others deal with the fallout of conflict.

Astonishing levels of hypocrisy you're displaying, I'm appalled to say the very least.

0:09 we thank Bangladesh and sheikh Hasina "shukriya aday gori".....

Sell more JF-17s.

End of Discussion, you're too much of a nationalist to see your own hand here.

DHAKA: Bangladesh Foreign Minister A.K. Abdul Momen has appealed to Spain to urge the international community to impose economic sanctions on Myanmar so that the country abides by its commitment for repatriation of Rohingya refugees. Momen expressed gratitude for the Spanish government's continued support to Bangladesh on the Rohingya issue.

Outgoing Spanish Ambassador to Bangladesh Alvaro de Salas Gimenez de Azcarate said Spain will need seasonal workers for agriculture in summer season.

Momen requested the outgoing envoy to consider employing seasonal workers from Bangladesh as they have expertise in agriculture sector.

Reiterating Bangladesh's commitment to combat the devastating effects of climate change, Momen recalled the successful visit of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to the COP25 in Madrid in December 2019.

Momen envoy raised his government's efforts to curb the spread of COVID-19 and also apprised the ambassador of Bangladesh's timely and effective policies in this regard.

The outgoing Spanish Ambassador paid a farewell courtesy call to Momen on Sunday afternoon at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh here. Mentioning the existing investment-friendly schemes of Bangladesh, the Bangladesh foreign minister called for more investments from Spain as well as sharing expertise, especially in energy and tourism sector with Bangladesh.

Momen mentioned that Bangladesh has exported 6.5 million PPEs to USA as well as supplied medicines, such as remdesivir and hydroxychloroquine to many countries during the pandemic. Spain can rely on Bangladesh for PPE and other pharmaceutical products related to prevention and treatment of COVID-19, he said. (IANS)

Myanmar will become another North Korea(Not sure about nuclear deterrence) in the near future I can assure you that. Just last week USA and China blamed each other for causing problems in Myanmar. This is exactly what happened in the Korean peninsula during the 1940s. Both USA and China is trying to create problem in Myanmar just like cold war era.
